May 2021

[edit]

Please do not change maps of disputed areas, such as Jammu and Kashmir (union territory)‎ and Ladakh, without first obtaining a change to the existing consensus. The maps in those articles have been discussed at length, and the maps currently shown, are what has been agreed. - Thank you - Arjayay (talk) 17:05, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm Oshwah. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Srivilliputhur, but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 01:26, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Military history of India into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 00:21, 16 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Vembakottai moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Vembakottai, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Vembakottai

[edit]

Hello, SUNDARRAJDRAVIDA. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Vembakottai".

Information icon Hello, I'm Cnilep. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of English words of Dravidian origin, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. The word eight is Indo-European and dates back to Old English ahto. Cnilep (talk) 06:11, 1 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
