Username issue
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that your username (SUCrusader1858) may not meet Wikipedia's username policy because Indicates a close connection with Susquehanna University (based on "SU," the "Crusader" nickname, and the year of the institution's founding). If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. As an alternative, you may ask for a change of username, or you may simply create a new account for editing. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GrapedApe (talk • contribs)
- I thought I was following this part of the policy: "This does not prohibit every use of a company, group, or product name as part of a username." I would be happy to change it if it is found to not be in compliance. SUCrusader1858 (talk) 19:02, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
- I think you're okay. Username issues are quite interpretative; my own opinion is that your name refers to yourself as an individual enough to avoid being highly disruptive. A borderline case - it's your choice if you want to follow the advice above or not. Hope this helps. NTox · talk 02:33, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
Lead at Susquehanna
[edit]Check out Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lead section for an idea of what a good lead looks like. Try to include something from each section in the article. Think of it this way: If someone read just the lead, would it be a good summary of the entire article?--GrapedApe (talk) 22:46, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
