Same-sex marriage

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to the article on same-sex marriage. It looks much better. Peyna 02:48, 2 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Please don't remove the references and sources that are linked from List of U.S. state laws on same-sex unions. References are what make Wikipedia credible. Thanks. --Hyphen5 21:31, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I agree with the previous comment. Looking, for instance, at the Maryland entry, I have no objection to your removal of the details, but I cannot understand why you would have removed the references that support the facts in the first and second paragraphs (they were from the Baltimore Sun). I am going to be writing a Maryland-specific article, hopefully today, but I wonder if citations have been removed from other entries as well. kdogg36 15:21, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Laws on homosexuality.png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Laws on homosexuality.png. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:07, 17 August 2006 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:World homosexuality laws.PNG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:World homosexuality laws.PNG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

An anon editor has pointed out that the ACT in Australia no longer recognizes civil unions (as of June 2006[1]); the ACT is the small darker blue dot on the lower right-hand corner of Australia. I have no idea how to edit images (or even if I'd want to). Since you were the last to work on this image - can you help out changing this small detail? Can we even change it on this image, or is that not permissible for some reason (copyright? license?)? I really, really don't deal in images so I'm not sure how all this works. Any help you can provide would be highly appreciated. Thanks, ZueJaytalk 01:40, 15 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I already mentioned this on discussion of the image, but I'll put it here as well since I don't know if you'd check it or not. If the map recognizes unregistered cohabitation as a same sex union then it should color Austria and the rest of Australia blue, but if it does not then Croatia, Hungary, and Colombia should be colored light blue. Persoanlly I'd say change Austria and Australia, but its your decision as I don't know how to edit images. Thank you very much. Kidoragon 19:37, 18 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have got one question about your map: why you didn't match the Faroe Islands? There are other homosexuality laws than in Denmark. Please check it. Viltharis 18:42, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Issue

[edit]

I have added a comment on the talk page of an image you recently created that attempted to encompass every aspect of same sex marriage and civil unions. I oppose its usage for the same reason that I opposed the previous usage of the 2006 SSM North Am image. Cheers.--Burzum 21:33, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
