Mindgame [Board Game]

[edit]

MIND GAME

Mind Game is the indoor game which is designed using the various rules of the very popular sport, Football. This game is simple and it is very easy to understand the rules of the game. The game especially attracts the football freaks as it implies various rules of football. The game contains the board with 90 square boxes colored green which seems like the football ground having two goal posts. Two players can play the game each having the 5-5 Kickers. There is a small object like the ball which is passed and scored goal in the goalpost moving on the board by moving the Kickers [the small metal or plastic equipment that looks like the players].

Rules of the game 1. In each side of the board, 5-5 Kickers must be kept where the keeper must be kept in the middle of Goal Area. The Kickers must be kept in a formation as placed in the given picture, where Player Red is with the formation to start the game. If Player Blue wins the toss, Blue can start the game changing its formation as of Red, and Player Red will change the formation to as of Blue. The ball is placed at the center.

2. The keeper can never be moved out of the Goal Area and the other Kickers from the same team are not allowed to enter the Goal Area. 3. The ball must be kept in the center spot of the circle in the middle of the board and started by either of the player who wins the toss by passing, like in the football. 4. At a time, the player can move the Kicker once which is one square box. And while passing ball, the ball only moves two square boxes and when scoring the goal, it can be moved 3 square boxes. 5. After the goal is scored the Kickers are again rearranged and the game is started as mentioned in the rule 2. 6. There is also the offside offence in the game. If the player is on the offside spot as in the football behind the 4 Kickers except the keeper inside the Goal Area and the ball is not to that side, it is offside. So the opponent player must move the offside Kicker first, not the other. 7. After the player touches a Kicker while moving, the player cannot move the next Kicker. If done, it is regarded as the foul and the next player can have the move. 8. The move once done cannot be reversed. 9. The ball can be moved straight: forward, backward or inclined; not zigzag. 10. The player cannot send the ball outside of the board in any cases. 11. The first player scoring goal is the winner. 12. A square box can have only one Kicker or a ball. 13. The ball cannot be passed from the square box which has the opponent Kickers. The ball can be passed from the next square boxes. 14. The ball can be passed many times using 2 square boxes to as many players and can be placed in any square box as far as possible. It can be passed to the keeper as well. 15. The opponent Kickers can enter the opponent’s Goal Area so as to score the goal but must recover fast so as to be away from being off-side.
