Request reason:

why did i get blocked? I just joined wikipedia. i don't think i've done anything wrong. I just asked User:MER-C a question about creating a page and now you think i'm abusing wikipedia? This guy is clearly abusing his power. if there is nothing wrong with how i've been editing pages, please tell me about it. i'm not even completely sure about how to use wikipedia yet. how can you block me??? Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 06:46, 8 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

So, the user who blocked me says it's because I'm a sock-puppet of Furqanrizwan. But i'm not. I don't know that person, I haven't done anything bad on wikipedia. I've only edited a few pages and I'm pretty sure they have been approved. I don't understand why I'm getting blocked. If you don't want me to create pages for a specific person, just give me a reason and I won't do it. I understand what I'm being blocked for, for asking for restoration of a deleted page and having a new profile which led the user who deleted me to believe that I'm a sockpuppet. I'm not a sockpuppet. I've only made useful contributions so far and that is what I hope to do in the future. Kindly review my request again. SOADNik (talk) 03:38, 9 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

A check user connected this account and a bunch more. We won't go into the other tells. The folks at WP:SPI are trained to make these determinations. They are very, very good. (The one and only time I questioned their accuracy, I wound up with egg on my face.) I now raise a new issue. It looks like this account is part of a Wikipedia:SOCKFARM. IN my mind, that raises the question of WP:PAID. It looks to me like a business operation where a group of people work on a project. I would need full disclosure on that.
