The article User:SLFilms has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group or service and which would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Hi- you requested that this article be unprotected and hopefully that it be restored. How about this- I'll restore it to your userspace (such as User:SLFilms/Jon Doscher) so you can improve it. Once it is ready and meets guidelines (such as WP:BIO, WP:GNG), I'll unprotect Jon Doescher and move it over. How does that sound?

I just need a couple more things from you. First, I assume you've read Wikipedia's policy about conflict of interest? It's okay to have one, but stating it is good. Second, is this a single-user account, or a "role" account that is shared at a business?

Finally, some of the information was obviously false. I can retrieve the deleted version, but can you give me some clues that will help me distinguish between the patently false pages and the version that you'd like to get back? tedder (talk) 03:48, 18 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
