Article naming

[edit]

Hi! Thanks for your contributions. When renaming articles in the future, please have a look at WP:TITLES and try to conform to existing conventions. Particularly, article names and the disambiguation suffix should be in lower case unless it's a proper noun. -- intgr [talk] 07:46, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Also, disambig pages should not generally contain redlinks (MOS:DABRL) and since that leaves CMPP with two pages, the disambiguation page is not needed either (WP:TWODAB).
And when you create new pages like CCMP in the place of page moves, make sure not to leave a redirect for the talk page (Talk:CCMP should not redirect to Talk:CCMP (Encryption) any more). I've fixed it for you for now. -- intgr [talk] 08:02, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Intgr: Thanks for the heads-up. I'm afraid Disamassist autocreates these pages. I'll double check these changes in the future. I am a bit confused when you mentioned CCMP and CMPP. I do not see my username from the edit history of these pages. SJ Defender (talk) 08:10, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Doh sorry! I saw you making the disambiguation edits so I assumed you also created the disambig page and did the page moves. Turns out you did nothing wrong, my bad. I'll get in contact with the user who created/moved CCMP. -- intgr [talk] 08:21, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
@Intgr: That's okay! Still, thanks for showing me that those edits pointed to a double redirect, which I should be mindful of. SJ Defender (talk) 08:31, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
It wasn't a double redirect when you made those edits. :) Just only now I renamed the page again (to make it conform to conventions). -- intgr [talk] 08:36, 5 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
