- Don't be afraid to edit! Just find something that can be improved and make it better. Other editors will help fix any mistakes you make.
- It's normal to feel a little overwhelmed, but don't worry if you don't understand everything at first—it's fine to edit using common sense.
- If an edit you make is reverted, you can discuss the issue at the article's talk page. Be civil, and don't restore the edit unless there is consensus.
- Always use edit summaries to explain your changes.
- When adding new content to an article, always include a citation to a reliable source.
- If you wish to edit about a subject with which you are affiliated, read our conflict of interest guide and disclose your connection.
- Have fun! Your presence in the Wikipedia community is welcome.
Happy editing! Cheers, Hajoon0102 💬 00:04, 21 February 2024 (UTC)
CPU list tables
[edit]If you don't mind answering me this side question, do you know who this IP editor is? I've noticed he's made some code changes in a similar style to you, e.g. bypassing redirects and replacing HTML tags with templates, although there are also some differences in habit, so I'm just wondering. — AP 499D25 (talk) 06:20, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
- It's not me even though you probably won't believe me. I have never edited with an IP. SHJX (talk) 17:01, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Okay then... — AP 499D25 (talk) 02:26, 7 June 2024 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for June 5
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sierra Forest, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page CXL. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, --DPL bot (talk) 05:57, 5 June 2024 (UTC)
Personal attacks, and previous accounts
[edit]- Do not make personal attacks on other editors, no matter how wrong you think they are. This edit at Talk:List of AMD Ryzen processors was totally unacceptable.
- What other accounts have you previously used? JBW (talk) 09:41, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- None. A freak who spends far too much time editing Wikipedia just asserted that I was a sockpuppet account because I dared to disagree with him. I don't have a high opinion of this individual from this one interaction with him due to how little he cares about engaging in good faith discussion and instead tried to railroad me with condescension, discrediting and intimidation. SHJX (talk) 16:59, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
- Please answer that question. JBW (talk) 16:27, 6 June 2024 (UTC)
