You have failed to declare you are paid to edit articles. See Wikipedia's mandatory and non-negotiable policy on paid editing. You must also read about conflicts of interest and understand that Wikipedia is not a place for advertising or promotion of your organization or services. -- Alexf(talk) 15:03, 15 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page, User:SEEBURGER Editor/sandbox, has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appeared to be advertising which only promoted or publicized someone or something. Promotional editing of any kind is not permitted, whether it be promotion of a person, company, product, group, service, belief, or anything else. This is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages — user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources or advertising space. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. There have been two problems with this account: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business or other organisation or group or a web site, which is also against policy, as an account must be for just one person. Because of those problems, the account has been blocked indefinitely from editing. Additionally, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for your contributions to Wikipedia, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If you intend to make useful contributions other than promoting your business or organisation, you may request an unblock. To do so, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:CentralAuth to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy. Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In that reason, you must:

  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block. To do so, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page, replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason for thinking that the block was an error, and publish the page. Hi SEEBURGER Editor, I received your email. Please follow the above instructions to make an unblock request, and another, uninvolved administrator will review the request. It would be ideal for you to re-copy the email you sent to me here to your talk page so that the admin can review that information. I can copy that here as well with your permission (and I would remove your name for privacy). SpencerT•C 12:13, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hi SEEBURGER Editor, per your second email, I have copied your first email here:
Hello Spencer, I'm very sorry to have made such a big mistake here. It was not my intention to advertise here. My user was verified and approved by Wikipedia.de. The text I have created here about the international worldwide active Seeburger Company is the pure translation of the German verified Wikipedia article https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seeburger_(Company). I have only made changes to the German (released) article in the last 12 months in the area of public turnover and employee figures. It should only be an entry like https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Software_AG. I myself have been working for Seeburger for over 25 years and have seen how Bernd Seeburger has built up this global company. I did not understand the assignment as "Paid User" (because I have my verified user) and I do not create or edit any other articles for Wikipedia. Of course I can make the addition "paid user". I may need your help here how/where I have to enter this exactly. I can also change the user name completely. About help how we can solve the problem I would be very happy. How can I proceed now? Best regards & Take care of you!
As to your specific questions, the English Wikipedia may have different username requirements than the German Wikipedia. Please see the English Wikipedia's username policy here Wikipedia:Username policy#Promotional names. As such, you will want to request a rename/unblock here on this talk page, rather than creating a new account (creating a new account separately would not be permitted). (Please use the template {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} to request an unblock and renaming). Additionally, please also review Wikipedia:Conflict of interest regarding conflict of interest disclosures, and best practices when editing with a conflict of interest. Lastly, I'm not seeing a link at de:Seeburger (Company)? Please let me know if there are additional questions. Best, SpencerT•C 14:05, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I intend to list only basic information and only the translation of the german released wikipedia page about the company.

Decline reason:

The requested username evades the restriction rather than actually addressing the problem; gaming the system does not work with human reviewers. Role accounts are not permitted on the English Wikipedia. Your only reason for using Wikipedia appears to be promoting your business, but Wikipedia is not for promotion. If the business is truly notable, someone unaffiliated with the company will create an article sooner or later. You should not do so yourself. If you ever intend to edit Wikipedia as an individual, in your free time, about something else than your business, you will probably be welcomed back. However, this is clearly not the case at the moment. There is no deadline for an appeal; feel free to re-request one if you ever intend to edit about something else than your business. When you do, please provide specific examples for articles you would like to edit, and explicitly agree not to edit about your conflicts of interest anymore. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:42, 16 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]
