Overlinking
[edit]Hallo, I've reverted your linking of England in Roundhay. Please see MOS:OVERLINK for a discussion of what not to link. Thanks.
Also, I see above that you have linked to a lot of disambiguation pages. There is an easy way to avoid linking to disambiguation pages: if you go to "Preferences", "Gadgets", and look under "Appearance" you'll see "Display links to disambiguation pages in orange" towards the bottom of the section. Select that tickbox, and whenever you Preview a page you'll be able to see whether you've accidentally linked to a disambiguation page.
As a general rule, please always check your edits by following every link you create. It is all too easy to link to the wrong title because, for example, there's an article on a 1920s tennis player with the same name as your 2010s politician. This would also pick up on the cases where you are linking to a disambiguation page: there may well be a more specific link which is the one you need to use, which you will find on that dab page. Thanks, and Happy Editing. PamD 08:17, 25 August 2020 (UTC)
