Tokusatsu Etymology?

Hi there. I'm mostly a retired lurker, and I recently got hooked on Tokusatsu. While I don't feel I have the knowledge or time to contribute to the project, I did have a suggestion/question. Why isn't there a breakdown or an explanation of the etymology of the show titles? For instance, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters's article states it's a super sentai, with the appropriate link, but there's no reference to the origin of Tokumei. Likewise, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger doesn't shed any light on the significance of "Kaizoku".

It might be a silly question, but I think if there's any significant reason for the naming convention it could make for an interesting addition to the articles. Hazardous Matt (talk) 19:17, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

"Kaizoku" is Japanese for "Pirates" (linked somewhere in the opening section). "Tokumei" is Japanese for "Special Mission" (mentioned somewhere on their article). There's nothing more to be said than that. Also translation of show titles can get tedious with no official translation for various made up words like "Bakuryu" or "Ninpuu".—Ryulong (琉竜) 10:15, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
I must have missed it, then. Just a suggestion. Thanks for the info. Incidentally, you seem to be doing great work on that project. Hazardous Matt (talk) 12:32, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
Well, it seems the translation of "kaizoku" as "pirate" was removed from the page at some point.—Ryulong (琉竜) 14:05, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

TAR start/finish line locations

Since you've removed the start/finish line locations in the original U.S. version, I had removed that locations in foreign editions and they're unnecessary on reading into the season/series' articles. I have to offline by almost two hours on to leave for All Saints' Day. ApprenticeFan work 20:11, 31 October 2012 (UTC)

Blogs

If I were to go to a blog and found new info on...lets say a con where Megaforce had a new promo, and they cited their info from someone who was at said con, even though that is a primary source, would that be good to cite? Gaeaman787 (talk) 07:03, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

No.—Ryulong (琉竜) 10:16, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

Blogs ae never considered to be reliable sources. Read WP:RS.—Ryulong (琉竜) 06:43, 4 November 2012 (UTC)

Hey Ryulong, just letting you know I've posted some replies over at WP:ANI. Check them out! Best, --Ecstacy Xtcy3 23:34, 9 November 2012 (UTC)

Hello, as the proposer has neglected to inform you, I'm just letting you know that the above article you created has been proposed for deletion. Thank you. Rotten regard Softnow 20:23, 11 November 2012 (UTC)

List of Jewish deportees from Norway that you deleted

I want to make you aware that the list that you moved to commons after I agreed to the compromise, was deleted. I have restored the list in the article. There are good reasons why it should not be in commons but no good reason why it should not be in the encyclopedia. I have notified the deleting editor in commons. I also want you to take note that the IP address that argued about this issue clearly edited for only this purpose. We are also coming up on the 70th anniversary of the deportation. --Leifern (talk) 19:23, 14 November 2012 (UTC)

Move it to WikiSource. It does not belong on Wikipedia. There is no need for a list of all of the deportees on this project.—Ryulong (琉竜) 04:59, 15 November 2012 (UTC)

Evangelion 3.0

My apologies for coming here, but you are the only Wikipedia admin I know. I request that the Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo be locked to either user-only or sysop-only. A number of unregistered contributors have been adding fake and unsourced information. In addition, the film is being released today (or yesterday, I'm nott experience he sure) so I'm guessing some editing conflicts will ensue. 114.108.196.220 (talk) 03:25, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

I'm not an admin.—Ryulong (琉竜) 10:30, 17 November 2012 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Kamen Rider Kuuga?

Excuse me but why was this template deleted?— Preceding unsigned comment added by Teridax122 (talkcontribs) 05:26, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

Because there were only 3 pages it moved between unlike later programs.—Ryulong (琉竜) 07:16, 18 November 2012 (UTC)

OOO Net Movie

According to Net Movie, Putotyra has possibly Random Combo because the picture who shown Ptera, Unagi and Condor then name it Puudor. The Putotyra or Burakawani has possibly Random Combo in the toyline.DharakJoo (talk) 03:01, 29 November 2012 (UTC)
