Refimprove tag at Super Sentai
Please do not remove the refimprove tag as you did in Super Sentai as the Brazil, Southeast Asia and Mecha sections need sources and the United States section needs more sources per WP:Verifiability and WP:No original research. Powergate92Talk 21:38, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- You try to find a reference that a show aired in 1982 in Malaysia. If you can, then by all means add the tag back. The fact that these pages have articles on other language projects is proof enough.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:44, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- There is also the Mecha section that needs sources and the United States section needs more sources as info like "Himitsu Sentai Goranger was also broadcast on Japanese-language stations in Sacramento, San Francisco and Los Angeles, California in 1976–77. J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai was also broadcast in Los Angeles, California following Himitsu Sentai Goranger" needs a source. Powergate92Talk 21:59, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- The mecha stuff is sourced directly to the show. And the broadcast stuff would be near impossible to source.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:26, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
- "First introduced in the 1978 Toei/Marvel Comics production Spider-Man, in which Spider-Man piloted the robot Leopardon, the revival of the Sentai series with Battle Fever J and the team's Battle Fever Robo made it a Super Sentai, whereas the previous Himitsu Sentai Goranger and J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai series only used vehicles such as tanks and jet planes were only Sentai (this designation would be changed during the broadcast of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger in 1995 when both Goranger and J.A.K.Q. were then classified in the Super Sentai Series)" can not be sourced to the show and you don't know that it was on in Brazil and Southeast Asia as there is no source for that. Powergate92Talk 04:34, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- The first Toei series to have a robot was Spider-Man. That was the year there was no Sentai. The next year, Battle Fever J was on, which had a robot too. Goranger and J.A.K.Q. had planes and shit. They were not considered Super Sentai because they didn't have giant robots until sometime later. That exists online somewhere. And there is plenty of proof that the shows were on in Brazil and Southeast Asia. After all, we get tons of editors from Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines contributing to the article.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:38, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Just find something else to work on that isn't a TV show that is over 10 years old, which are always difficult to source for various minutae.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 04:38, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- That info also looks like trivia to me and "this designation would be changed during the broadcast of Chouriki Sentai Ohranger in 1995 when both Goranger and J.A.K.Q. were then classified in the Super Sentai Series" needs a source. Until sources are added to the info that needs sources the refimprove tag should not be removed so users will look for and cite sources for the unsourced info as removing the refimprove tag would make some users think they don't need to cite sources for unsourced info. Powergate92Talk 02:31, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- The information is next to impossible to source accurately because the shows are over 10 years old. This is something you just accept when writing about programs this old. Find something else that needs better sourcing.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:44, 3 July 2009 (UTC)
- Over 10 years old or not it still needs sources per WP:Verifiability and WP:No original research. Powergate92Talk 04:04, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

An hero
I asked that the an hero article be unprotected at WP:RFPP, but they denied my request and told me to ask you what your reasons were for protecting the page, and then request unprotection again. 24.87.87.122 (talk) 23:13, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- I can't do any unprotections, and I would not unprotect a 4chan magnet.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:40, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry if I'm butting in, Ryūlóng, but I would agree with you. If our article on suicide isn't going to address the "an hero" meme, then it doesn't make much sense to redirect from it as a search term. Fortunately, about 0.49 seconds of Googling will reveal the meaning to anyone who's curious and online. -GTBacchus(talk) 23:47, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
- Perhaps we should just have a page on semi-notable 4chan memes with ED, 4chanarchive and Know Your Meme as sources. By doing that, we could give people info quickly and without the bias you'd find on ED. 24.87.87.122 (talk) 03:11, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

- Wasn't the goal of Wikipedia to have the sum of human knowledge, or something like that? I'd say that even memes like Milhouse not being a meme are more notable than 75% of stuff on Wikipedia. Thus, this should be discussed by as many Wikipedians as possible. Also, how will it hurt Wikipedia to put ~100kb of server space into giving a tiny bit of information on some of the more well known memes like Pedobear, Candlejack, An Hero, Milhouse, Girugamesh and Advice Dog? 24.87.87.122 (talk) 03:25, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Shinkenger animal names
When these are anything but the Origami names, these things get translated. The fact that they are a part of weapon or attacks does not mean they should be half translated.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 09:24, 10 July 2009 (UTC)

Primary sources
Primary sources are not fine as WP:No original research#Primary, secondary and tertiary sources says "Primary sources that have been reliably published (for example, by a university press or mainstream newspaper) may be used in Wikipedia, but only with care, because it is easy to misuse them. Any interpretation of primary source material requires a reliable secondary source for that interpretation. Without a secondary source, a primary source may be used only to make descriptive claims, the accuracy of which is verifiable by a reasonable, educated person without specialist knowledge." Powergate92Talk 02:40, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
- Primary sources are only being used to make descriptive claims on any page relating to a fictional subject matter or popular medium. There are no interpretations of any sort being made that need secondary or other sources. Get off of your bender on wanting everything to have secondary sources. For kids' TV shows there are never going to be secondary sources. You're not being helpful by putting content tags. If you have issues with the content, bring it up on the talk page instead of doing a drive-by for every article you touch.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 02:43, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Arbitration motion regarding Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Ryulong
Per a motion at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Clarification:
Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Ryulong#Mythdon restricted and placed under mentorship is vacated and replaced with the following:
- Mythdon is placed under conduct probabtion
Mythdon is placed under conduct probation for one year, in relation to WikiProject Tokusatsu and Ryulong, broadly construed. This includes, but is not limited to, edit warring and failing to appropriately pursue dispute resolution and to show better communication skills. Mythdon will still be restricted from making edits such as unnecessary questions and abusive warnings to users' talk pages.
- Conduct probation enforcement
Any uninvolved administrator may utilize discretionary sanctions, including topic bans and blocks, to enforce this probation. Acting administrators are encouraged to apply sanctions tailored to the circumstances and context. For the purposes of enforcing this measure, any administrator approached directly by Ryulong for enforcement should not act directly. In such a situation, raise both Ryulong's and Mythdon's conduct in normal venues for review.

If I am understanding the "diff" right you added to the Autozam AZ-1 page: The car is also popular as a grey import in some markets, and has been converted to left-hand drive for the Canadian and other left hand drive markets. Any idea who? A reference to an individual car (owner) may not be appropriate for the main page, but as someone interested in the car (who lives in Canada) I might like to talk to the guy. - Thanks ( I remember someone in China converted either an az-1 or a cappuccino, but forget which.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.219.229.57 (talk) 16:02, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
- I changed the link Metal Heroes to Metal Hero Series. I did not add any content to the page.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:16, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. Then I misunderstood "diff". Might as well delete my question. Sorry to bother you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.219.229.55 (talk) 07:37, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

SPI case moving
Regarding this, I just wanted to let you know that that sort of problem can usually be fixed by dummy editing the page, and moving it manually is usually not required. Just wanted to let you know, NW (Talk) 14:46, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you. I had screwed up the process, but I saw it wasn't that difficult to add it myself.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:03, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Even the request was made several hours after the edit war had ended because of my giving in to the other's wishes. And if I am unblocked, then User:Drag-5 should be unblocked, too.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 23:02, 30 July 2009 (UTC)

- Hey Ryulong, sorry about the block. I was looking at the talk page and noticed where you said "Fine," but I looked at the diff and still saw you removing the {{movereq}} template. Usually, one only puts one such template on a talk page, so I did not notice that you left the other one in place. -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 00:41, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. Now how about you put that Saban troll abuse filter in place? :P—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 00:43, 31 July 2009 (UTC)
