Thanks. Perhaps you saw that I created the 2009 flu pandemic in the Philippines#Affected regions

section. I am planning to split it up so that there would be more emphasis among the cases in each region. ;)--The Wandering TravelerWP: U.P. needs you! 13:07, 26 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Information on your Userpage

[edit]

Hi Ryomaandres. My name is Backslash Forwardslash. I am a Wikipedia administrator, and I noticed you have recently created a userpage. I don't intend to scare you away or attempt to intimidate you, but I thought you might want to reconsider some of the items on your userpage. You may have not realised that the items on your userpage release personal information about yourself (real name or age etc), which could be used against you in the future. While 99% of all the editors on Wikipedia are friendly, welcoming and harmless, there is a chance your personal information could be misused by editors not so 'high-minded'. A handful of editors have even felt real-world implications due to their Wikipedia edits and release of personal information.

Protecting your privacy, and remaining anonymous while on the internet — on any site — is a good idea. The internet is a worldwide and largely unregulated medium, and while Wikipedia is one of the safer sites, there are definite risks while online. With cyber-bullying and cyberstalking becoming increasingly commonplace, it is important that you take every precaution to remain safe.

I have deleted some revisions of your userpage in respect to your privacy for the time being, just in case you wish to reverse on your decision to have such content on public display. As a result, the information is only available to administrators. You are, of course, welcome to ask myself or another administrator to restore them, but I just wanted to make you aware of the risks involved with releasing personal information on such a public forum. If you wish to have the personal information removed so that even administrators cannot view it, I can request oversight on your behalf. You are also welcome to discuss this with me on my talk page, or privately via e-mail if you have any concerns. Again, I do not want to scare you. Wikipedia is a fantastic place with an incredibly supportive community. I'm just trying to ensure you are fully aware of the risks involved in editing, which are very similar to the risks you come across every day online. Hope to hear from you. \ Backslash Forwardslash / {talk} 12:24, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I will consider your advice. --Ryomaandres (talk to me)

File source problem with File:Pax et.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Pax et.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:16, 30 November 2009 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Salavat (talk) 04:16, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Pax et.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Salavat (talk) 04:16, 30 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, please do not put interwiki links on template pages as you did to {{Infobox ship image}} with this edit. This means that the interwiki link is transcluded on every page using this template which is a very large number of pages. All interwiki links should be placed on the template documentation subpage usually found at /doc for the template. See Wikipedia:Template documentation for more details. Thanks. You may have noticed over the past few days that the MOTD that you link to on your user page has simply displayed a red link. This is due to the fact that not enough people are reviewing pending MOTDs here. Please help us keep the MOTD template alive and simply go and review a few of the MOTDs in the list. That way we can have a real MOTD in the future rather than re-using (This space for rent). Any help would be appreciated! ·Add§hore· Talk To Me! 14:09, 6 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of historical markers in the Philippines, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Abra (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Proposed blackout in protest of RA 10175

[edit]

Dear Ryomaandres,

Greetings!

As a Filipino Wikipedian, I hope you are aware of the passage of Republic Act No. 10175, also known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, which was signed into law by President Benigno Aquino III on September 14, 2012. Currently, there is a discussion on the Tambayan, the noticeboard for Philippines-related topics, about a proposed blackout of the English Wikipedia in the Philippines in order to protest the passage of RA 10175, similar to the blackout against SOPA and PIPA held earlier this year. I feel that your input on the subject will definitely help in the discussion.

Please feel free to participate in the discussion at Wikipedia talk:Tambayan Philippines#The Cybercrime Prevention Act, and I hope your input will help the Filipino Wikipedia community determine which is the best course of action against this law. Similarly, we hope to get as much input from as many Wikipedians as possible.

Thank you and maraming salamat po!

Kind regards,

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of List of historical markers of the Philippines in the Davao Region, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://enc.tfode.com/List_of_historical_markers_in_the_Philippines.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

Attribution

[edit]

Hi! I see that you have split up the List of historical markers of the Philippines into various regional lists, and copied over some text to each. As you know, it's fine to re-use Wikipedia content like that (and obviously the bot notices above can be ignored), but it does require attribution under our licence. Could I ask you to go ahead and provide that? You can use {{Copied}} or {{Split to}}/{{Split from}} on the relevant talk pages for this purpose. If you aren't sure how to do it, please let me know (here would be fine). Many thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 08:38, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for dealing with that. Just one thing, though: {{split from}} should go on the talk page, not the article itself. Many thanks, Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 06:40, 17 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. Wikidata WikiProject Philippine historical markers

[edit]

Hi, Kjerrimyr. I'm inviting you to join the WikiProject Philippine historical markers over at Wikidata. I know you've been uploading photos and maintaining tables about historical markers in the Philippines, and I think it would be great if we can also compile machine-readable data about these historical markers into Wikidata. Hopefully, in the future, we will be able to automatically generate the tables you've been maintaining using data from Wikidata through tools like Listeria. For example, Bluemask is experimenting with generating a table list of provinces using Wikidata here. Thanks! —seav (talk) 03:42, 23 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much for the heads up! I am excited for this project, though I think I don't have prior experience on Wikidata. --Ryomaandres 15:06, 28 March 2016 (UTC)
It's OK if you don't have experience with Wikidata. It's actually quite easy to pick it up because there are lots of helpful buttons and links on Wikidata pages that can help with editing. It's kinda like filling out a form. Please do visit Wikidata:Introduction to see what you need to learn to help out in Wikidata. :-) —seav (talk) 19:20, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
BTW, if you want a more hands-on tutorial, just ping me on Facebook and I can try providing you with better help. —seav (talk) 09:30, 1 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

List of historical markers of the Philippines in Metro Manila

[edit]

Hi there, I noticed a few weird things in your recent additions to List of historical markers of the Philippines in Metro Manila. "façFde", "fa5ade", and "façRde" seem to mean "façade," so I changed those. The Binondo Church entry was pretty jumbled, but I changed it to what I think you meant. I also found a few instances of letters being clipped off of words - "Rizal" becoming "izal," etc. I think I fixed the problems, but I just wanted to let you know. If you have a moment, you may want to take a look at my changes, to see if I made any errors (and if so, I apologize!). Thank you, Jessicapierce (talk) 19:29, 26 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Yay! Thank you. Sorry for the mistakes. There has been trouble when copy-pasting the "ç" character; for some reason, the cursor automatically moves to the left, hence my mistakes. I'll be more careful next time. --Ryomaandres 13:49, 30 September 2018 (UTC)

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}} tag from List of historical markers of the Philippines in Negros, which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, proposed deletion is disallowed on articles that have previously been de-prodded, even by the page's creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{proposed deletion}} template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Philippine Bar Association moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Philippine Bar Association, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hitro talk 02:02, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, Ryomaandres. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Philippine Bar Association".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Lapablo (talk) 21:14, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

2019 US Banknote Contest

[edit]
US Banknote Contest
November-December 2019

There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons.

In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate.

If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here

Hi Ryomaandres, just a quick note – you accidentally copied over a ref from the Italian wiki without adjusting the parameters accordingly, leading to a bit of a ref error bloodbath. I've fixed it now, but thought you'd probably like to know anyway. Take care! AngryHarpytalk 14:02, 18 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Renato Reyes (activist) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Unfortunately, an article you recently created Renato Reyes (activist), is not ready as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage with citations from reliable and independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. I've moved your article to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's WP:GNG guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit the draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
