Mising singlechart/manual entries

Yes, it's OK. I specifically designed singlechart to permit mixing.—Kww(talk) 04:09, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Enrique Iglesias

Whoops! Thanks for noticing my incompetence of signing the article page...I guess I didn't preview my edit, or even look at it after I was done. Qwyrxian (talk) 05:58, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Re:Hi

I will get back to Irresistible review in few hours or tomorrow. see WP:ELPEREN. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:33, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

No problem. Essentially the issue with things like myspace is artists tend to update them regularly so information is lost. If you can use WebCite to archive the site and use the archived link first. But use with CAUTION... a lot of users dislike personal pages especially facebook! -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:38, 19 January 2011 (UTC)

Just Stand Up

Not really. But if you want, then yes, definitely. When do you want to start? (Not today). Jivesh Talk2Me 13:22, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Let me know when you are ready. But before i go, i wish to tell you that i appreciate you a lot and i do not want you to think that i am abusing of your kindness. (I mean i always look for you when i need help). Bye, see you later. Jivesh Talk2Me 13:29, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
I meant that i always rush to you. I mean sometimes i fear that you will be angry at me. I practically ask for help everyday and i fear that it may affect our friendship. And concerning my message there, i personally feel that you have done a lot already. And I sincerely think that i am not better than you. We are the same. And i really appreciate you a lot. Jivesh Talk2Me 13:38, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Oh Thank You Novice. I hope we never get angry at each other. I am genuinely happy to have a friend like you. You are truly a very helpful person. Thank you infinitely for everything. Jivesh Talk2Me 13:44, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
I need to go now. I have to give food to my five dogs and do my prayers. Bye, my best Wikipedia Friend. XD. Jivesh Talk2Me 13:45, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Cmon, don't you think you are overdoing it? Even I edit only from 3 sandboxes. You can of course keep it as its your user area, but then again, wth? Lol. — Legolas (talk2me) 16:51, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Yes, lol, I knew someone would ask. I actually (now) use only 6 or 7. I created a lot of them before. Earlier, when I saw some interesting article, I put it into a sandbox. I now focus only on some of them. Novice7 | Talk 16:55, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Then ask an admin to delete the rest and create them when necessary. You will get mad remember where you kept which article. — Legolas (talk2me) 17:01, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
Yes. I plan on doin' that. I got inspiration for this from him, lol. Btw, do you know what they mean by an "Award Winning Song"? Novice7 | Talk 17:04, 20 January 2011 (UTC)
It says there clearly that "Irresistible" won a BMI Music Award. — Legolas (talk2me) 17:12, 20 January 2011 (UTC)

Query

I'm not really sure what you mean about "check the printed and non-printed media during review". Can you be a bit more specific. I'm more than happy to help, I just don't know what you want me to do! :-) Adabow (talk · contribs) 00:22, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Done. Sorry it took so long! :-) Adabow (talk · contribs) 00:24, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

RE:On the Floor

Hello?! I made the page :P User:Cprice1000/On the Floor. Though, it would be nothing without Lil-Unique! I agree, her best work since 'J.Lo', no doubt! Her vocals haven't been this strong since Waiting For Tonight. Also, RedOne's production is genius. Maybe there is hope for Love? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:02, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Waiting For Tonight, If You Had My Love, Let's Get Loud, all incredible! What happened after This Is Me... Then though? Her music took a huge plunge. Especially with Brave. Catchy, but not really quality. I did think Louboutins might be her comeback and if was definitely my favorite since 2003 - WRONG! Love? deserves better than what was on her past two English albums. Promotion is also an issue. No video for Louboutins? Cancelling further promotion of REbirth and Brave after two singles? That's really gonna help! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:12, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

That's right! J.Lo's only done about 2 tours. There wasn't even for for This is Me... --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:20, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
I've been hopin' for over a year now! XD Good Night! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:25, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Have you noticed that her website hasn't been updated since September? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 15:48, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

GOD DANG IT!!! I'm soooo slow! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 16:01, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Hold It Against Me

Lol, why do you think it's a second Oops!? And I think the charts can be added, they're not listed on WP:BADCHARTS. Xwomanizerx (talk) 16:23, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I guess the "Overall" chart, it's probably the main one. Xwomanizerx (talk) 17:10, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

I doubt you know who she is or if you have ever heard this song, but can you take a look at Price Tag by Jessie J and maybe fix it up some? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:54, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

I've been searching for two hours and haven't found much. Maybe something on the critical reception? Thanks! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:57, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
Jeez! I spent hours and you only took a few second to find one better than mine. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:08, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Once again, I'm bad at collecting research! Yes, please, that would be perfect! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:13, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Thanks again! I hope to get the article back out soon! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:45, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Shattered Glass

After seeing a page being created for almost every song from Beyonce albums, I've started making some for songs from Circus that should be able to meet notability. Shattered Glass is my first project. I'm going to die if you find info on it in a second, because I've been searching all morning. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 22:24, 22 January 2011 (UTC)

Awesome! One I had already used and Sputnikmusic one was by an average user, but the rest were perfect for the Composition and Critical Reception. Thank you! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:32, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Also, I know Womanizer is sorta right, mostly because he is right about everything, but I do feel that articles should be created for more of her songs. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:34, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, neither did I've Just Begun (Having My Fun) and here it is as a GA. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:49, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
I think I'm ready to publish it, as I doubt there is much I can add to it with it just sitting there. Thoughts? --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:54, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
No live performances as far as I know. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 05:04, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Ok! :) --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 05:25, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Agnes

Well, I have no clue since I made my first edit to the article today. XD I'll fix everything tomorrow. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 03:37, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Whitney

Which Whiteney (Godney) articles do you want me to check? Reply back as I hardly check back anybody's talk page. — Legolas (talk2me) 09:28, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Irresistible

Just to let you know... I've picked up the GA review. It will pass that's for certain, there will be small MOS and prose changes however. (Must be you're lucky day... don't hold it against me!) -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 12:40, 11 January 2011 (UTC)

I'm off sick at the moment so i dont have much else to do lol. I'll take a look at Diva and Irresistible later today and drop you a note about both. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 12:46, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeah unfortunately... the old classic fever and swollen glands :(. thank you though. No problem. I'm usually quite thorough with my reviews but you get quite a lot of time so its fair. Speak to you soon. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 12:52, 11 January 2011 (UTC)
Initial comments for you at Talk:Irresistible (Jessica Simpson song)/GA1. Also could you find a better source that 911.com for the single cover? -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:01, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
HeY, I didn't realise with the Canadian singles thing. Sorry. However the Belgium ones etc. there shouldnt be an issue with. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 04:27, 16 January 2011 (UTC)
Where there isn't a single chart template in creation e.g. Romania not using one is obviously ok. With regards to Belgium the Ultratip and Ultratop Charts are different. Songs chart on the Ultratip and if they are successful they make it to the Ultratop chart. Think of it as junior/senior charts (or bubbling under and singles charts). Thus the Ultratop peak is the final recorded peak. You need to update the charts accordingly as well as convert both Belgium listings to singlechart. There is syntax support for both the Ultratip and Ultratop charts. From what I can see "Irresistible" reached 46 on the Belgium Flanders (Ultratop) and number 6 on the Belgium Wallonia (Ultratip). -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 04:42, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Changes (all small ones) to infobox and introduction sections are ready for comment at Talk:Irresistible (Jessica Simpson song)/GA1. Rest of article will be reviewed once these are fixed. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 23:52, 16 January 2011 (UTC)

Some more stuff for you to work on... -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 01:47, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Final bits have been review. Comments may seem like a lot but they're relatively small issues really. Sourcing/referencing has some more major issues. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 01:48, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Home stretch now. I'm happy with everything. There's just the reference for the remix credits, locations of book publishers and a comment about release to add somewhere into the article. I think that's all there was. Just double check the talk page and as soon as your done I'll sign it off! -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 17:46, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Congratulations. I've now officially listed the article. Irresistible (Jessica Simpson song) -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 14:57, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

RE:

Nope, I've just been all over the place these last few days. And I hear back from a college I really want to go to sometime this afternoon, and I'm nervous! Lol. Anyway. hmm, that is a good question. I would say if you can, please do so, but if not it might not be a big deal. And loll no I haven't listened to any Japanese music. Haha. When you get a chance, could you get samples for me of Ciara's Never Ever (at the chorus "If that boy....") and Fantasia's "Bittersweet" (0:44-1:08) :) Thanks Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 16:03, 21 January 2011 (UTC)

Well I got into one, but I hear from the one I really really wanna go to later on today. Thanks! What do you mean by collage, like collages of pictures? Hahaha i will some time :D Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 16:14, 21 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeahh Swizzle is the chart beast. But even in some of her weeks at #1 she had sales lower. Its just people like Keri and Ciara released their albums at times where other people released major albums and/or people like Taylor, Eminem or Justin Bieber continued to sell massive copies of their albums during the holidays. It seems like their teams would have though it would have been better to release in the new year. For the mv screenshot, three is kind of pushing it for NFCC, would just two pics be fine? Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 17:42, 22 January 2011 (UTC)
I wouldn't call myself a Whitney fan, but I respect her work. But I do love all her music from The Preacher's Kid soundtrack as well as Waiting to Exhale soundtrack. Thats most of her music that I just know. Its a bit jumbled but I hope it suffices. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 01:16, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
No probbbbb, just hope it didn't look too messy. Lol. Lemme know if you need any more help on the page. I was gonna work on it put it looks like alot of people are already involved in it. & don't forget about my samples :) Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 17:15, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I saw that. Is it something with the copyright that requires such? And I hope I wasn't rude! Lol since your always doing favors for me. I was trying to remind you still yet be tactful haha. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 17:21, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Sureeee! That'll be fine. And I forgot to tell you I got in to the college I wanted to, and if all goes well, I can start in June. I just gotta get through these five months of high school left.... ugh. Lol Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 17:30, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Maybe not the gospel genre, but definitely Gospel influences. I don't know if you have heard of it or not but "Close to You" by BeBe and CeCe Winans is lyrically a love song, but gets airplay on Gospel stations over here. I guess MHIC could be the same case. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 17:39, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Yess. If not gospel itself, I would say most of TPW soundtrack is R&B with gospel influences and/or undertones. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 23:20, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeppp, I have alotta sources saved in my favorites, I just haven't finished the article. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 03:27, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeahhh I have to use Google News & Books when doing older songs, I especially have to use it when im working on Ciara's Goodies era. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 03:38, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Heya :)

Heya, so yes I heard about Whitney, it sounds cool, but honestly, I don't expect much, I mean her voice is ruined from drugs, not time and wear and tear like Mimi, I doubt her voice will even be as good as ILTY :(. Sure, if you need help I'm free :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:21, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I know what your saying! I'd love to see what you can do with TGIFY :) You've done great stuff with Whitney articles :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:27, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
How come you call her Whit Nippy? lol. Yeah, I see what your saying. I never got into Miracle but I do like her a lot. The Divas are really something! :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:36, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Gotcha! lol, I didn't know that! Sounds good :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 16:49, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Wow! Nice job :) I knew it was a BS claim. MC writes her own music, they just hate and try and steal. I mean have you heard the new "plagiarism" claim for Brit's new song HIAM? I mean because it says thhe same line as another song they think they own it lol.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 17:01, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
A little thin? Is that all you hear? lol. While I love Mimi super much, I am very critical of her. Her voice has gotten in the past much worse than thin, its been weak, nasally, squeaky and pitchy. I think her voice sounds really good now when you compare to the disaster of E=mc2, I mean she was struggling with "Touch My Body" at some points. Hopefully with the pregnancy, the absence of alcohol and the lots of rest she's getting, hopefully she'll come back stronger than ever! She needs a new sound IMO, I hope she comes back a little "Euro-dance" I mean thats whats big now. She needs to take like another year and a half off, and come back thin, hot, rested and fresh new album and sound! :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 17:18, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Alright, maybe Euro-dance is going a little far, but I want a new sound. Something totally different than Mimi, E=mc2 and Memoirs. Well I don't mean an alcoholic, but she drinks lots of champagne and expensive wines and stuff, and even in small amounts, isn't good for singers. It drys out their vocal cords.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 17:30, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

OMG PLEASE DONT want Mimi to go dance-pop on us. She needs to go urban/pop crossover in the vein of "Obsessed." Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 17:38, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Her remixes are amazing!!! But, she needs urban and R&B songs, I agree. Speaking about Obsessed, how's it going on your sandbox? Novice7 | Talk 17:40, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
Well, I was working on it then got behind. I'll start back up soon. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 23:18, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

Hello

Hi, i hope you are fine? May i ask you something? Jivesh Talk2Me 09:59, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

I will be having assessments starting as from tomorrow and lastng till 31 January, 2011. So i would like to request you please keep a look at my talk page? Will you? Jivesh Talk2Me 10:14, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Thank you very much. Novice, are you angry with me? Jivesh Talk2Me 10:20, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
No it's not because of that. Actually, i was referring to my discussion with Legolas. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:27, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
You are most welcome. Novice, i really think i should not have left that message but i was not very happy to see that apart you and me, no one was really working. And you know what Legolas told me. He told that i do not even know where Beyonce articles would have been today if members of the wiki-project were not working. And this is very false since practically all GAs of Beyonce have been done by Efe, a user who is no longer active on Wikipedia. He also did all the FAs. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:34, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

It doen not matter Novice. I just hope i have not lost your trust and your friendship. Tell me frankly. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:51, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Thank you. Really thank you. You made me so relieved. Thank you again. I would have been very very sad it was the contrary. Thank you Novice. Jivesh Talk2Me 12:57, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

Thank you. That is very good news. Actually, a discussion is currently going on where many sources claim Beyonce worldwide sales as a solo artist is around 118 million units. Then a guy came up with a reference from media.fire stating her sales are merely 49 million units. Jivesh Talk2Me 17:38, 25 January 2011 (UTC)

Response

Yes, I have a book about Whitney Houston, titled One Moment in Time: Whitney Houston written by Richard Seal in 1994. The book covers her career from the early years to The Bodyguard era, of course, included informations on her debut, Whitney Houston. I don't know the exact release date (US) of her early releases, either. But UK release dates (all of her singles until The Bodyguard years) were included in the book. Crowded (Talk) 01:41, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

I wrote full texts of the book from her first recording to debut album on your sandbox. "Someone for Me" (remix) was released as the first single in UK. After releases of "YGGL" and "SAMLFY", "Thinking About You" was also released as the single for only R&B-oriented market and radio stations in US (not released in UK). Re: Trey J

Well the last batch of edits I undid claimed Tre' Shon Jenkins was a production duo consisting of Darkchild & Timbaland. Apart from sounding absurd are we gonna suggest that the two hip-hop/R&B producers sang background vocals on a Britney Album? That they produced on the same songs for the Pussycat Dolls? That they wrote songs produced by Brian Kennedy? its quite a ridiculous suggestion. I've found no legitimate mention of Tre' Shon / Tray J as either an individual or duo production team/songwriter/lyricist/vocalist. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 05:40, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

I suspect its a self-publicising attempt by an unknown/upcoming artist or a ghostwriter? -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 05:47, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
Quite possibly. I'm a bit time-strapped at the moment though. As you've noticed... with my review for Irresistible... but I'm happy to collaborate towards it. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 16:21, 23 January 2011 (UTC)
no problem... i'll finish the review soon and then take a small break (i've nominted Scream (Kelis song) for GA) and then start some more GA stuff. :) -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 16:25, 23 January 2011 (UTC)

That's fine. Imma sift through the current occurances tomorrow and note them down. Its for future reference really and just to see if there is a pattern e.g IP range. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 03:41, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
Yeah I heard about the song but I didn't know it existed. I just thought it was another one of those recorded songs. Is it on everyone's favourite video website? -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 12:56, 26 January 2011 (UTC)
One link says... Imaginary Boyfriend (produced by Trey Polow da Don) and another says (produced by Trey J & Bangladesh). Im still not convinced that our friend Trey J exists. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:03, 26 January 2011 (UTC)

That's interesting. I had never thought of Discogs as it is kinda unreliable, but they source from the notes so I suppose I could cite the notes. Thanks HEAPS!!! Yep, the CD came in the mail yesterday! Already one of my favorite albums. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 01:14, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

Here. If you think it's acceptable, can you let me add it? XD 4 times I've written synopsises for people and then I don't even get to add it in. Sorry if it's just a bit short or bad, didn't have a lot to write about. The video starts with showing Minogue at a party on the dancefloor. It then moves to show her on top of a table at a bar and seducing the men that are there. A scene is then shown with Minogue dancing with a man she picked up at the bar. As the second chorus ends, she is shown in a dark room with a floor covered in multi-colored, sparkling lights, writhing on the floor. As the bridge starts, she is shown dancing seductively around a bar stool with two background dancers. The video progresses to show Minogue back on the dance floor doing a dance routine with all of the party guests, before ending with the camera moving up to show bright lights on the celing and cutting black. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 22:05, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

RE: Billboard's Hottest Hot 100 Hits

Hi Novice! Yeah, I do enjoy Billboard Hot 100 chart-related stuff...what kind of help are you looking for with Whitney's articles? Maybe I can help out.  Gongshow Talk 18:13, 27 January 2011 (UTC)

No nuisance at all! So, you're talking about the Billboard's Hottest Hot 100 Hits book? Unfortunately, I don't own a copy. If I ever used it as a source, I must have gotten the info from the "snippet view" that's available in the 2003 edition of the book. This is what I get when I search for "My Love Is Your Love" and "I Believe in You and Me". I did a little more looking around and found some other sources that you may be interested in, because they have details on the songs' backgrounds:
For "My Love Is Your Love" - Family Friends Community Choir provided backing vocals [1], and Robby Pardlo (later of City High) also sang backup and played keyboard on the track [2]. According to [3], co-producer and co-writer Wyclef Jean persuaded Whitney "to go deeper into the [song's] reggae groove". In this MTV article, Whitney said the song appealed to her because of its universal message. "So [the song's] basically talking about the destruction of the world for the most part and when it all ends," Houston said. "When it all comes right down to it, somehow we're all intertwined, in some way or another. Every human being is intertwined." "So my love is your love and yours is mine," she said, explaining the song's refrain.
For "I Believe in You and Me" - Arista VP of A&R/soundtracks Maureen Crowe explained to Billboard why different Whitney singles were released at the time for the US and UK: "Because the film was coming out in March in Europe, 'Step by Step' was just being marketed [in the UK] as a record. We probably would have gone with 'Step By Step' here [in the States] except 'I Believe in You and Me' was so strongly featured in the film."
I hope some of this info can be useful. Let me know if you need help putting any of these sources into the articles, or if there's anything else I can try to help with.  Gongshow Talk 08:57, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
You're welcome, I haven't watched "Preacher's Wife" in a long time so this brought me back, haha. Good luck with the articles and take care,  Gongshow Talk 09:57, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

RE: Archiving

You seem to have done it right. I will go over the article in general this weekend. BTW if anything, the Billboard cites are the ones who need the archiving the most, due to changing content and changing databases. I Help, When I Can.[12] 04:22, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

That's what I am gonna do on Sat. I'm gonna take one last look at everything, and put according articles on review.

I'm gonna have to scold you for...

nominating Back to December for GA. per WP:RECENT the subject is too new to be stable. A quick search of the article shows that it is still pending release in the UK (while other dates have yet to be confirmed). The danger is that with additional worldwide releases a lot more new information could appear about the song but there's no way of confirming that editors will respect and continue the current standards of the article and so we could end up with a GA that doesn't deserve to be a GA. In future can you please wait until a song has been fully released and charted? A good indication is when the artist begins to release their next single then you know that the chart run for the current single is likely to stabilise and/or end. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:17, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Apologies I thought you had nominated it sorry. In future I wouldn't pass articles for the reason given above. what's done is done but in the future I'd be more careful. -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:23, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't like being Mr Nasty lol. sorry. I've informed the user that in the future they should wait before nominating articles so soon. Obviously take my comments in context e.g. if the release was in Belgium and its only a week away then it would be acceptable as its unlikely that new information would surface. But the UK is one of the five biggest markets in the world... critical reception, chart performance and certificates are likely to arise. scolding aside, how are you? -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:30, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
I'm loving JLo on Idol btw!!! Good luck with the Martina McBride stuff. I quite like her music but we don't get to hear much in the UK. Thanks for the WLTO comments. I cant believe someone rejected the article saying it didnt have enough musical analysis as the 40year old Hey Jude o_O -- Lil_niquℇ 1 [talk] 13:42, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Kylie disco

LOL IDK, I just feel like working on some articles. ;) Maybe I should work on some I have already begun though. xD nding·start 14:53, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

I have all weekend to do shit. I have an English exam Monday, but it's not the kind you have to study for. I have to write an essay in class. xD Sure. You mean like convert the look of it? I love doing that. xD nding·start 14:57, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
When you were young? How old are you? LOL. It's more of a like response essay. We have to write like about the theme of a story. It's quite simple. You just submit it. xD Well I already began doing the singles. :P Which charts do I need to remove? There's 14, and only 10 is allowed. US Dance is one. What else? LOL. I know what you mean. Just gotta take it one day at a time. xD nding·start 15:03, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Baha, you made it sound like you were so old. xD I'm just a year younger-ish. I'm turning 16 in a few months. Some of these charts just link to the place, and not the chart, so I'm going to have to check some of them out. I think the US and Canada should be included, they are major charts. Although she isn't that big in North America, I still think they should be there. nding·start 15:10, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Actually nevermind. I'll remove those as well. I got rid of Dance and Austria. I just saw the 90s section, and she has no songs charting in the US. I'll remove US and Canada. nding·start 15:12, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

I disagree. The US Dance doesn't have much importance. In the 2000s almost all of her songs charted in the Netherlands, so I think it should stay. nding·start 15:16, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
I've finished the 80s :). nding·start 15:29, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Haha, I was about to do that. xD Woah, this is a lot of hard work. :P The coding for these are SOO messed up. nding·start 15:35, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Haha, alright. What do you think about separating the singles in the infobox? Having like a 1980s, 90s, 20s, 10's sections in it? To expand it a bit more? And ofc add one for featured artist. nding·start 15:39, 28 January 2011 (UTC)
Wow, that'd be stupid. There's no point in having an infobox if it only has one section in it. xD I mean, really. nding·start 15:46, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, I know. But I don't know why they would complain about them being separated. xD We just won't bother then. nding·start 15:51, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Okay, I'm going to watch The Price Is Right and have lunch. I'll finish when I get back. But feel free to finish it if you want. xD nding·start 15:52, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

I just finished converting it all. :) I think a new section needs to be made for promo singles, I see there are some, and they are in with the normal singles. nding·start 17:04, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Done with the promo singles. Woohoo! All done with it all. :) 9026 bytes were cut down. Woah! xD nding·start 17:16, 28 January 2011 (UTC)

Re: Refs in lead

Hi, I was looking over your GA review of Alter Bridge, and I noticed that you said "References on the lead are not encouraged". I found this puzzling, and when I searched around in the relevant policy guidelines, I was unable to find anything to support this assertion. Nothing in WP:V, WP:REF, WP:FN, or anywhere else that I looked. Moreover, I looked though some of the featured articles and found that a great many of them did indeed have references in the lead section: e.g. Charles Darwin. Am I missing something? ~~ Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 19:24, 30 January 2011 (UTC)

I don't think that WP:LEAD contains anything significant enough to say that refs are "not encouraged": "there is not, however, an exception to citation requirements specific to leads". It's kind of a big stretch to say that "editors should balance the desire to avoid redundant citations in the lead with the desire to aid readers in locating sources for challengeable material" means that refs are discouraged in leads. If the article is a biography of a living person, citations are actually highly encouraged.
The reason I bring this up is that Live Light (talk · contribs) has taken your advice on the matter to heart and has been removing citations from article leads. I have been reverting these actions and have requested that the user stop, but I haven't had much luck with the latter. In the future, I think it would be wise to emphasise that "no refs in lead" is not official policy, so other editors don't get the wrong impression and I so don't have to user contributions-patrol to prevent articles being misguidedly stripped of sources. Regards, Lothar von Richthofen (talk) 12:24, 31 January 2011 (UTC)

Oyyy, honestly, that divine voice Nippy had just aint coming back. I'm happy to see her though on stage like that. She always had good stage presence. Don't even get me started on that great falsetto she had, I always look at her oldie performances. I don't like Kim, her voice sounds like Aretha on a bad day lol. Whitney was better IMO :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 10:05, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Lol, maybe its just me, but Whitney can just stand on the stage quietly and she'll still outshine almost anyone. I guess its that legacy, I still see the aura lol. Yes thats a really good one. Whitney's C#5s were incredible and her vibrato as well. Very strong mid range. Yess, I would go back to 97 for Mariah (to stop her from ruining her voice) and like 91 for Whitney :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 10:12, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Haha better yet! I would have convinced her to not have released that dreadful "Open Arms" in Europe, she wasted all the promo there with that song. Shoulda use OSD. :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 10:17, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
Hey :) So I gave it a look, but unfortunately it didn't seem so easy. There aren't really quotes, they are cut out little sentences and stuff. If you still want I can scan it for you on Monday :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:16, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh okay :) Yup thats true! I hope lol, we need another songbird for the 2030s lmao :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:22, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
I would love to, but those FAs are a pain in the ass. Editors look to slap a bold oppose as fast as they can, so honestly, after like 5 tries, I'm not sure I would want to try again lol. Also, Its more difficult to gather info for that era, since there aren't really bios, all has to be online :S--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:26, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

I would be willing to give it a shot, it sure deserves it. IMO though, pretty much every section needs expansion.--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:43, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Sure I could do Monday :) Let me know when you're ready so we can discuss it further! :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:47, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Sure! I'll be at school on Monday to do it. Which songs would you like? :D--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 05:19, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Got it! Have3 it for you Monday :) Just don't forget about TGIFY :P--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 06:07, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

RE:

No, sorry! Lol. I keep in mind to reply then my mind moves on to something else but I was eventually going to forget back. I have a short attention span lol. And yes yes yes that's my song! I love gospel (because "I Love The Lord") lol, but it is not covered in the mainstream as much. I don't know if you have heard of their music, but I've been working on FL-ing the discography for Mary Mary, and I am going to try some of their album and singles, but I can hardly find anything. And yes, at first I didnt like LIzzie McGuire, but during the last episodes and reruns, I appreciated it more lol. I looove disney sitcoms. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 23:15, 4 February 2011 (UTC)

Ugh, I hated the Jonas' show. It was bad at first, and then it turned into this comedy show to a wannabe soap opera. Plus the Jonases have lost the majority of their popularity to the meteoric rise of Justin Bieber. Yeppp, That's so Raven IS the essential Disney show, no questions asked. Lol. I'm gonna miss Wizards when it goes off air though, like I am missing Hannah Montana, but I see Shake It Up will fill that void. Candyo32 - Happy New Year :) 15:16, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Lol guys, I loved That's So Raven! Such good acting, blew the others away! Also, as a side joke, as you said Candy Jonas sucks, hear this out. My friends 13 year old sister used to have her roon full of Jonas brothers posters, then like 6 months ago I went to his house and they were replaced by JB haaha. Im like JB much better, he's cool and nice, JB are too gay and annoying lol :)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:24, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Lol, I totally agree :) Its a shame how poor Disney is getting :S. Nothing good left to watch :(. But yes, JB is tolerable, but those Jonas, Oy Vay, I don't and never did like ;)--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:44, 6 February 2011 (UTC)
Actually I hate Icarly lol, but you know which one I really like, "Victorious". They all work well together and I love the characters etc. Good show!--CallMeNathanTalk2Me 15:51, 6 February 2011 (UTC)

If your not busy, can you deal with the Chiggy Wiggy merger? I Help, When I Can. [12] 04:15, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, and if you feel froggy, maybe you can even write up the article. Make sure to keep the blue article in our scope with the template if you do write it. I Help, When I Can. [12] 18:13, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Re:Kylie discography

Hey! School's about as good as school can be. :P If you are talking about the US Dance/Hot 100 notes then 100% yes they need to be removed. I don't really think component charts have places in discographies. Just use the Hot 100. Bubbling Under Hot 100 peaks can be noted next to an em dash. Adabow (talk · contribs) 08:26, 8 February 2011 (UTC)

Hehe, have fun with that. Adabow (talk · contribs) 09:10, 8 February 2011 (UTC)
She has charted on the Hot 100 7 times compared to her 14 on the Dance chart. I noted where he has hit the Hot 100, and I guess I will do so when she hits Bubbling. Component charts have been included in some of the most famed featured discographies, including Mariah Carey, Madonna, MIA, Taylor Swift and many more. I Help, When I Can. I think you should try to dig up some more composition info before you can elaborate on the FUR. The samples you got pointed to have lots of info written about them in the article. Adabow (talk · contribs) 08:09, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

RE:Barnstar

Thanks! Though, if I keep giving them out like I do, a barnstar from me might not be worth as much. :P --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:05, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

I've moved to working on Fever, but I'm not sure how to split that massive "album information" section. I added a critical reception section and I plan on improving the lead tomorrow, but I'm not sure on that. --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:10, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Oh definitely! A lot of the Kylie articles contain a lot of original research! --ĈÞЯİŒ 1ооо 04:23, 10 February 2011 (UTC)
Any help needed? I do have Kylie bios. . — Legolas (talk2me) 06:24, 10 February 2011 (UTC)

That song was really beautiful. Thank you. But why did you choose it? Jivesh Talk2Me 08:47, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
You are right. It is very beautiful. Nice lyrics and very pretty singer. Jivesh Talk2Me 09:37, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Never. Are you a fan? Jivesh Talk2Me 09:43, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
To be frank i do not like country. But i swear that i have started to develop a liking for this artist. At least she does not sing bullshit. Her lyrics has sense, unlike others. I wonder why such artists are not so successful. Jivesh Talk2Me 09:51, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

No not yet. I have two for Chemisty and maths. Pf, but they were very easy. On which song are you currently working? Jivesh Talk2Me 10:05, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

If you need help. tell me without hesitation. By the way, are your results out? Jivesh Talk2Me 10:14, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Can you upload a sample for Crazy in Love? I will tell you which part. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:29, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Thank you. I am so relieved. I have already completed ALL her singles from B'Day. But i am mostly proud on what i have done in "Deja Vu" (which you told me you love), "Ring The Alarm" and "Get Me Bodied". I love the composition section of "Ring The Alarm". Jivesh Talk2Me 10:32, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Now it's time to ring the alarm on Dangerously in Love singles. I really need to check on them and upgrade them. I want to make all her songs' pages irreplaceable. I really love this naughty girl. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:37, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

0:48 to 1:13 will be excellent. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:37, 5 February 2011 (UTC)

Novice, i really have to go now. Leave the sample on my talk page as usual. Bye for now and i realty loved having this amazing chat with my best Wikipedia friend. You are really very nice. Thank you for being my friend,. See you very soon. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:39, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Whenever you have some free time, read the live performance section of "Ring the Alarm, you will find something.............. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:41, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
One last question, can i put this in "Get Me Bodied"? Jivesh Talk2Me 10:44, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
I am very sorry for that. It was not intentional. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:46, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
Can you re-direct me to the page about NFCC? Please. Thank you. Jivesh Talk2Me 10:47, 5 February 2011 (UTC)
