- Thanks, though I am not a new user. I used to write here sometimes a long time ago but I forgot my user name. Rymatz (talk) 19:07, 14 July 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the head up
[edit]Although checking my watchlist I saw that crazy guy was back. I posted some of his weird history in that admin thread. Also, thanks for the renewed editting interest. The poker articles sure could benefit from another person keeping eyes on them. I'd encorage you to chek out WP:POKER. While it doesn't have a huge volume of discussions there, it's a place you can notify the dozen or som most active poker editors about stuff, and if you add it to your watch list also stay on top of things too. Happy editing. 2005 (talk) 20:18, 21 July 2011 (UTC)
Non notable musician
[edit]Is this individual remotely notable? Google only show up a few hundred hits most of which relate to wikipedia article itself. There's hardly even proof that she existed, let alone being the "Queen" of Kanto. Kanto related articles have been spammed promoting this likely fictitious peson. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.231.85.227 (talk) 19:55, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
- I would appreciate if you could tell me which article is this about? Rymatz (talk) 22:03, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
He means Peruz Terzekyan — Preceding unsigned comment added by 123.231.84.48 (talk) 00:36, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
- If you feel the individual is non-notable, feel free to propose its deletion. Any user is allowed to do so. Rymatz (talk) 12:42, 23 July 2011 (UTC)
Speedy Deletion
[edit]Hi there. That template was my own creation, I was trying to create a template for the Church in Wales, but it appears to have got screwed up. Just let it get deleted and another one will be attempted soon. Thanks. JAU123. JAU123 (talk) 21:15, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Removing BLP prod tags
[edit]Please do not remove BLP prod tags from articles, as you did here, unless that article has at least one reliable source to verify at least one claim made in the article. If you believe that an article merits speedy deletion and it already has a BLP prod, regular prod, or AfD tag on it, you are more than welcome to add the CSD tag on top of the already-placed tag, not in place of it. —KuyaBriBriTalk 15:06, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Please help me edit the page I created
[edit]Hi there. Recently i ran into a guy Zoran Stevanovic who was my idol when i was young. He was a Radio Talk Show and very funny and very smart. My entire generation was listening his show, and even to this day we remember him and he remains popular in Sarajevo. I thought I might do a wiki page on him because for the last decade or so many people asked me about him and what has happened to him. Since I have never edited and created wiki page this is the best i could have done at the time. So please help me improve the page. If you for any reasons you want to delete the page please go ahead. I though he deserves to be in Wikipedia more than many I see in here and know.

Paul Igag
[edit]Can somebody help me with this page?: Paul Igag. I believe that just like the article about David Attenborough, this article shouldn't treated any differently, and for that matter deleted. Your help will be kindlly appreciated. Mishae (talk) 18:55, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
CSD rationale
[edit]Paul Igag may or may not be notable, but "national expert on birds" sounds like an assertion of importance so I declined the CSD.--SPhilbrickT 19:56, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Speedy deletion converted to PROD: Jesse pinkman!
[edit]Hello Rymatz. I am just letting you know that I have converted the speedy deletion tag that you placed on Jesse pinkman! to a proposed deletion tag, because I do not believe CSD applies to the page in question. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 23:37, 27 July 2011 (UTC)
Definitely not vandalism? It's about a method of identification that purportedly uses the penis and requires "multiple reinsertions" to prevent false readings. ... discospinster talk 17:38, 28 July 2011 (UTC)
Igor Vladimirovich Litovchenko and COI tag
[edit]Since another editor keeps removing the COI tag from Igor Vladimirovich Litovchenko, I've started discussion on the talk page about why the tag was placed initially. Since you, as far as I can tell, were the editor to initially tag it, I invite you to comment at Talk:Igor Vladimirovich Litovchenko#COI. (And if you have the article in your watchlist, apologies for the double notification.) —C.Fred (talk) 15:09, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
Reverting page blanking
[edit]Can you explain why you reverted the blanking of Athena and the 11th Muse by the page's author. That seemed like a legitimate action (see WP:CSD#G7). The article, thus blanked, was eligible for speedy deletion. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:29, 29 July 2011 (UTC)
- "Feel free to edit the article, but the article must not be blanked, and this notice must not be removed, until the discussion is closed. For more information, particularly on merging or moving" -- from {{afd}}. Rymatz (talk) 13:15, 30 July 2011 (UTC)
speedy deletion
[edit]Thanks for your 'Welcome' which unfortunately was immediately broken down by the tagging of my article for 'speedy deletion', supposedly coz I 'failed to signify the importance of the article'. I really do not understand that. I can contest the significance of 75% of Wikipedia articles. And where am I supposed to 'signify' that importance?? There are many articles just like mine taht obviously where not tagged. What is not important to one, might be important to another. I am a more than willing contributor to wikipedia, but things like this make me think that obviously my efforts are not appreciated on completely debatable grounds (Geo2011 (talk) 14:26, 30 July 2011 (UTC)).
DYK for 1972 World Series of Poker
[edit]On 3 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article 1972 World Series of Poker, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Thomas "Amarillo Slim" Preston, champion of the 1972 World Series of Poker, won his title in a fixed match after an under-the-table tournament deal? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
