Welcome from Redwolf24

Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We as a community are glad to have you and thank you for creating a user account! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

Yes some of the links appear a bit boring at first, but they are VERY helpful if you ever take the time to read them.

Remember to place any articles you create into a category so we don't get orphans.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, please be sure to sign your name on Talk and vote pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, or three tildes (~~~) for just your name. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my Talk page. Again, welcome.

P.S. I like messages :-P

Breaking References

[edit]

I just wanted to alert you to the fact that you are breaking references with edits like this. In Knuckles' article, try clicking the [3] reference at the end of the following paragraph near the top:

"Knuckles' name is derived from the four knuckles, two on each hand, which are actually sharp spikes. His task since birth has been to
guard the Master Emerald, normally located on Angel Island. According to official Sonic Team polls, Knuckles placed fourth in the
favorite character poll, first in the third favorite character poll, and third in the character who should appear more."

You'll find that it doesn't work! This is because you removed the references location. If you want to have static external links instead of references, please be sure to fix this problem. -- RattleMan 09:12, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Talk:Super Smash Bros. (series). Please be careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Hi. Got your message about Talk:Super Smash Bros. (series). If the conversation is no longer relevant, that might be a good reason to archive it. If it isn't applicable to improving the page, it might be okay to delete the conversation, but that's a debated practice and certainly requires explanation at least in the Help:Edit summary. It would probably also be a good idea to mention what you've done in the talk page to make it easier later for any editors who object and want to retrieve the information at its last save. :) --Moonriddengirl 23:31, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User Page

[edit]

Hi. I got your message about fixing your user page. Your user page can be edited just like any other article on Wikipedia. If you click the first tab at the top of the screen, it will open "Editing User:Ryan the Game Master", and you can just add your content there. (You can also just click here.) More details on user pages, including what we're allowed to have and what we're not supposed to do, can be found over here. Good luck, and have fun with it. :) --Moonriddengirl 12:05, 5 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unreferenced or controversial information about living persons to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Jackie Chan. Thank you.--Alasdair 20:19, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
