Request for adoption by Scribbleink
Good evening Ryan Vesey. Wish you a wonderful 2014!
I'm looking for a mentor to show me the ropes for long-term editing and contributions here at Wikipedia. Yunshui was kind enough to suggest asking you. I've been an avid reader and a new contributor and I'd like to take the next step by creating my first article for WikiProject:Visual arts, specifically a request for The Reader (painting). My questions to you are:
- Would you be willing to adopt me?
- Do you have a program for adoptees? Ideally, I'd like to ramp up my Wiki-sense faster than if I were to let it happen "organically".
Thanks in advance. scribble · ink chat\contrib 08:24, 31 December 2013 (UTC)
- Hi Scribbleink, I apologize in advance. I'm practically inactive. I suggest you check with one of the others advised by Yunshui. If you want, I might be able to take a look at the article once you begin writing it. Ryan Vesey 06:52, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- In addition, I'm not sure if he's available, but User:Go Phightins! runs the same adoption program that I would've run. (There's actually a tree of sorts of adopters linked in some way to User:Worm That Turned who run his adoption program) Ryan Vesey 06:54, 1 January 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks Ryan Vesey. I appreciate the suggestion and I'll follow up suitably. scribble · ink chat\contrib 09:27, 1 January 2014 (UTC)

Murlo and Poggio Civitate
Thanks for your recent contributions about Murlo and Poggio Civitate. Since there is already an article about Poggio Civitate I have moved your text about what you called the palace of Murlo there (the building is actually not in the village of Murlo but on Poggio Civitate, a hill nearby). Cheers! Pax:Vobiscum (talk) 13:52, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
