License tagging for Image:Zac-efron-hairspray-london-premiere-arrivals-04g0Wa.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Zac-efron-hairspray-london-premiere-arrivals-04g0Wa.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 01:29, 27 September 2007 (UTC)

hilary duff album sales figure
[edit]i notice that u keep changing the album sales figures for dignity. if u have the source then pls cite it. unsourced info is likely to be challanged or removed...pls keep that in mind. Gprince007 (talk) 11:45, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
Edits to Hilary Duff article
[edit]I understand that u are new to wikipedia and therefore i think i need to let you know that the source u provided (www.hilarynews.com) is a BLOGGING site and not any official website. The cited page[1] is written by Arieanna Schweber, who is just another blogger. In fact in her profile itself she has listed that www.hilarynews.com is HER BLOG. The wikipedia policy states that all sources should be verifiable and blogs are not seen to be reliable sources (see WP:SPS). Since u are new here, i felt it was my duty to let u know abt this. Pls go thru the policies again so that u can prevent this from occurring. Also my prev. section query regarding uncited sales figure of Dignity album has not been answered. If u have a source then pls cite it...otherwise that too might be challanged or removed. pls keep that in mind....thanx Gprince007 (talk) 14:56, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
hilary duff album sale citation
[edit]the link which u added is a blacklisted spam link. It was there in the article 2-3 months ago and when it was blacklisted the cited link was removed.Pls dont add it again...if u have any other cite for album sales then go ahead and add it. also the webpage www.worldwidealbums.net may not be a reliable source as per WP:Reliable sources and WP:VERIFY because the website itself states that the figures "..Are only ESTIMATIONS and not "real" data as it is impossible to have real sales data, so there might be MISTAKES in the figures...". See the complete text at www.worldwidealbums.net/methods.htm. So pls dont add that cite again as it is blacklisted and unreliable....thanx...Gprince007 (talk) 14:53, 10 January 2008 (UTC)
- even if the site is removed from blacklist, i dont think it will stand scrutiny as a reliable source. did u read the policies i have highlighted above??? pls go thru it before making any statements. I am just highlighting the official policies to u becos u r a new user and as an experienced editor i feel its my duty to let u know of the rules....the website itself states that "Estimations may be wrong and it is impossible to get correct sales figure"....In that case, how can u make claims that "it's results matches sales figures for other artists"....Which other artists are u talking about and how can u be sure that figures are correct when the website itself states that there might be mistakes in their estimations???.....I'm not "somebody"....everybody is equal here and my advise for u is to go thru official policies and review ur opinions....thanx Gprince007 (talk) 06:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)
Hilary Duff article
[edit]- First of all i need to let u know that u should log in as a user and then leave messages on talk pages. Also u should sign ur messages with "four tildes" (~~~~). Everytime i see u leave a message on my talk page, u type ur username instead of signing it and in the edit history it shows some random ip address. So next time pls log in as a user and sign ur messages.
- Secondly, i noticed u deleted a prev comment from my talk page. U are not supposed to edit comments made on the talk pages, even if they were ur own comments. (See Wikipedia:Talk#Own comments) ....So i have restored the deleted comment. You are also warned not to delete comments from ur own talk page too....
- Thirdly, i'm glad that u appreciate my improving the lip-syncing paragraph. As long as facts and claims are backed by valid sources, i am ok with it...u need not worry about language,Grammar, punctuation etc as long as its verifiable and notable. I just did some copyediting and fixed it !!
- Fourthly, the info added by the editor was in a sentence "with three RIAA certified-platinum albums and over thirteen million albums sold worldwide.[2]".....now this sentence was a cited sentence and he added his claim of gold albums in middle of this sentence. Since the source makes no mention of gold albums, i deleted it. The "gold albums" can be mentioned as a separate sentence provided it is accompanied with a source.
- Finally, i just want to say that i helped Hilary Duff article get to GA level. I'm going to nominate it for Featured article status in a few weeks. Before nominating it for FA, i want to do some polishing and fine tuning in the article. Thats why i'm bit possessive about it and dont allow any unsourced info to get into the article. I seriously believe that this article deserves to be a FA and i hope it will soon become a feature article. Gprince007 (talk) 15:55, 22 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well i have done all i could in the article...i submitted it for a peer review and got feedback from others and they found it ok too...i addressed little issues raised in peer review too ....check the peer review suggestions here. I'm currently addressing the last issue of "citations needing better formatting". After that i'll submit it for FA nomination. If some objections are raised there, then maybe u can help in addressing those issues. Right now i guess i'll just do the "citation formatting" part and nominate it for FA. I'll inform u when i nominate it. Thanks for the offer to help !!!...i appreciate it...i wish u were around when i put it for GA....i had to dig up the entire internet to find sources and references to address the issues raised during GA nomination and i did it all alone but i was happy that it was promoted !!!....the only point which i couldnt address during GA nomination was to provide a source for the statement, "In an appearance on Total Request Live, Duff stated that it was not a greatest hits album, but that her label told her it was time to release a new album". The statement is in Music career->2005-2006 section. I searched so many sites and couldnt find "RELIABLE SOURCES"....the sources i found on net were fansites and blogs which CANT BE USED. If u find a valid site then pls cite it otherwise let it remain as it is. Thanx Gprince007 (talk) 14:51, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
- Well the album "Most wanted" was released in 2005... so the comments made by her on Total Request Live were in 2005. Its been more than 2 yrs now....when did u see her say those comments in Ellen show??? did she say the exact thing??? You said the video is on youtube....do u have a link to that video??? Gprince007 (talk) 15:02, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Is the video of total request live episode??....april 2005 is enough but if possible then the complete airdate wud be better ...the main thing is that she should've said the same thing which is written in the article....Gprince007 (talk) 08:41, 29 January 2008 (UTC)
- We need a cite for "Hilary duff said that 'Most wanted' was not a greatest hits album, but that her label told her it was time to release a new album"....what u are saying is completely different...can u clarify??? Gprince007 (talk) 07:17, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
- Just wanted to inform you that i have nominated Hilary Duff as a featured article candidate. You can read the article and then visit WP:FAC to support or oppose the nomination. Just wanted to inform you abt this development. Can u pls keep an eye on the FAC page and try to address oppositions raised if any. I'll try to do it myself but any help in this regard would be appreciated. Thanx...Gprince007 (talk) 15:02, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
