2.0 (film) reversions

[edit]

Hi there, I've reverted the following three edits of yours, and I'm including explanations for your edification:

  • [1] - The use of "which" doesn't make sense in this context. By using "which", it sounds like you're referring to the first Enthiran, and saying that "Enthiran features Rajinikanth reprising the roles of Dr. Vaseegaran" would be incorrect, since Rajinikanth reprises the role in the second film.
  • [2] - This sentence doesn't make any sense, grammatically: "The background score will be handled by Qutub-E-Kripa along with the composer himself." Firstly, people don't "handle" scores. They either compose the music, write the lyrics, produce the music, etc. It's therefore unclear what you're trying to say. And of course a composer would be involved with a score. Music doesn't get created without a composer.
  • [3] - Here you removed a reference without an explanation. Please don't do this. References make the encyclopedia stronger, and removing them without justification is not helpful.
  • This edit I didn't revert, but I did flag for citation. What reliable sources are describing the film as a "spiritual sucessor"? That sounds like a personal evaluation you are making rather than something the entire industry is saying. Please stick to what reliable sources say and don't use fancy uncommon ways of describing things.

If you have thoughts, feel free to reply below. Thank you, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:48, 16 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Ajith Kumar filmography, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Trivial "milestones" like Mankatha being Ajith's 50th film must NOT be mentioned in filmography tables. Kailash29792 (talk) 04:47, 14 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rubin: Thanks for the information :)

The article Aalaporaan Thamizhan has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of this individual song meeting notabilty requirements. The soundtrack album doesn't even have or warrant it's own article. Redirect to film article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
