Unofficial signings
I usually just have it ready to go in my sandbox until free agency opens up and we get an official announcement, but we're so close to the kickoff I think we're good to keep those there and hidden! Here we go another year! Thanks in advance for all your help on this! –uncleben85 (talk) 15:49, 1 July 2023 (UTC)
- I wouldn't worry too much about squeezing those references in, either. We're going to want primary references for everything, anyway, so the TSN and Sportsnet reports will just be replaced. Occasionally a team won't publish a release for a minor signing, and then we can go to a neutral secondary source for those.

Invitation
Hello Rusted AutoParts/Archives/2023!
- The New Pages Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles needing review. We could use a few extra hands to help.
- We think that someone with your activity and experience is very likely to meet the guidelines for granting.
- Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time, but it requires a strong understanding of Wikipedia’s CSD policy and notability guidelines.
- Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision, and feel free to post on the project talk page with questions.
- If patrolling new pages is something you'd be willing to help out with, please consider applying here.
Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around!

Pull your horns in
The Sinéad O'Connor article is being rapidly updated. People have been adding a supposed date of death all evening, even though there was no article stating that today was the date of death. See the Talk page. Yes, I missed your addition - apologies - but I have a sneaking suspicion that The Guardian didn't properly fact-check that date either and just made an assumption; it's still not live on any Irish news website, with most still saying "The death has been announced..." and giving no date of death - see RTÉ as of 20 minutes ago, The Irish Times, and The Irish Independent (around an hour ago). As this is still effectively a BLP, you need better sourcing than the final line of one obit from a different country. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 22:04, 26 July 2023 (UTC)
