User talk:Runeselo
Welcome!
Hello, Runeselo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Help pages
- Tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Manual of Style
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}}
on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Again, welcome!
I removed your change to Wikia, because there was already a link to the website in the External links section, as appropriate. Wikipedia is not a links directory, so it should not be the first thing in the article - that is the point of an encyclopedia, to describe things and then point you to further resources. :-) GreenReaper 14:55, 18 September 2006 (UTC)
- The edits in question are listed on your contributions page. Click the "diff" links to see them individually. I noticed you also posted a question on Wikipedia talk:Administrators - the answer to that would be "a) If you're not logged in, then you automatically get the IP, and b) no, you're not an administrator, in part because you haven't actually done anything in three years". Administrators typically make thousands of edits before they are trusted, although this is not a universal situation, and there is a specific procedure for nomination. But don't worry, you don't need to be an admin to edit most pages, to upload images, and suchlike - you just need to be logged in. GreenReaper (talk) 22:13, 5 May 2008 (UTC)
