Hi Rundquist. I believe that the Jakob Spafford article is unverifiable. You should go ahead and propose it for AfD. i will be supporting its deletion. Thanks for spotting this one. Best, Gwernol 02:28, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you, Gwernol. I am going to propose the Jakob Spafford article for deletion, as I don't believe it meets the criteria for speedy deletion, but it seems uncontroversial. Of course, this is the first time I've done this, so if I need to follow a different policy, please inform me. Thanks again, Rundquist 18:10, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
- Prod is the right policy to use. You should use the {{dated prod}} template rather than {{prod}} because of a short-term technical glitch. See template:prod for details. Good luck, Gwernol 18:16, 10 May 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for writing Tale of Tales
[edit]I'd been wanting to start the article myself for some time now, but it seemed like such a daunting task that I couldn't bring myself to actually do it! Thank you for writing such an excellent article on this important film, and on finding an excellent image that summarizes the mood of the film so well (I took several screenshots from my own DVD, but I couldn't find one that fit as well as yours does). I've added some information to it, and I'm afraid that I might have made it read not quite as smoothly - it's hard to express in words a concept like "the structure of memory", so if you can change it so that it reads more eloquently, please do so. :) Esn 20:51, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
- You're welcome. I just figured that there needed to be an article on Tale of Tales, and that I could provide a starting point through formatting the available information on IMDB, Animator.ru, and the Yuriy Norshteyn page. But it definitely needs to grow and develop, so I'm glad that you are contributing. I'll also see what else I can add, but not being a native Russian, I'm sure there are things about this film that I don't understand. Rundquist 21:07, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
Burma
[edit]Okay, I have created Wikipedia:Requests_for_mediation/Burma. I have added you along with added 18 other users (including myself) to the list of involved parties. The ones I have listed are ones who have commented recently, or who commented on the Mediation Cabal case (except if they solely made a neutral comment). If you disagree with me listing you there, remove yourself from it if you wish. If you feel someone else should be involved, add/ask them. I hope those I have added are alright though. I also hope this step is what finally ends this dispute! Deamon138 (talk) 00:32, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Request for mediation not accepted
[edit]If you have questions about this bot, please contact the Mediation Committee directly.
- I've started a new page for structured mediation if you're interested. BigBlueFish (talk) 13:04, 11 July 2008 (UTC)
The Aufbau Principle and the Madelung rule
[edit]Hi, Rundquist. Thanks for letting me know about your edit to the Aufbau article. I disagree with your position. I added my note to yours in the discussion page to explain why there are exclusions to the Aufbau, but not to the Madelung Rule. I also undid your modification to the article. Regards, Drova (talk) 21:11, 24 July 2008 (UTC)
Dear Rundquist,
Couple of days ago I posted my conciliatory response to your post on discussion page of Aufbau article. I did not hear from you. Do you agree with my offer, or do you want me to come up with new language? Please, let me know. Drova (talk) 20:51, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
- That sounds good--I've just been a little busy the past couple of days. I'll revise the article tonight, but feel free to make whatever changes you feel are necessary yourself as well. Thanks, Rundquist (talk) 22:35, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit]This is to let you know that an ongoing poll is taking place to move Burma to Myanmar. I know this happened just recently but no administrator would close these frequent rm's down, so here we go again. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
