Hope International
[edit]Hi RLr, just to let you know that I will go over the article within the next 12 hours (possibly 8 hours, but I don't want to promise and not deliver). I plan to do a major edit of everything, just as an example. If you don't like or don't agree with what I do, we can easily roll it back to your last version before I started (or to any point you like). I promise I will take no offence whatsoever if that's what you then want to do: it's your article until it goes online (then it's Wikipedia's article). I am seriously wondering about keeping the HI logo (I won't delete it, though). There are many editors for whom it would be an instant "advertising!" red flag. However, I first want to look at other articles on a few comparable orgs and see what they look like. I will be in touch again soon. David_FLXD (Talk) 19:14, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, radical surgery completed. Take a look. Brace yourself first! I think you will see a substantial difference in approach, hopefully you will see why, for the sake of creating an encyclopedia entry, I made those changes.
- A survey of comparable orgs showed 10/14 do have their logos, so we'll keep that for the meantime. (Though you might consider taking it off until the article has been accepted, and then putting it back. Just occurred to me.)
- Remember, if you feel that I have destroyed your article(!), don't panic. We can just roll the changes back to exactly how it was before I started in on it, ok? David_FLXD (Talk) 05:54, 11 July 2012 (UTC)

David_FLXD (Talk) 15:42, 10 August 2012 (UTC)Hi Leah, as you can see, your article is up! I had to change the name, as the admin did not agree with me that your article should have priority on the plain title. However, anyone who searches for Hope International will arrive at the disambiguation page, on which your HI is listed first (alphabetically). Regards, David_FLXD (Talk) 15:48, 10 August 2012 (UTC)
