Repost of Insatanity

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Insatanity requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hang on}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. LadyofShalott 03:28, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a repost of this band, This is a new page with new infomartion. I have been talking to --Ron Ritzman (talk) about this article and I believe I have added several notabile references to sustain a wiki page. I also have used pages of nationally signed acts as a template and I actually have more content and more references than some of them. Ruinsofman (talk) 18:06, 22 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This page should have not been deleted, It was not a repost, it had new information that was asked to be added to sustain it being a page. This page should be allowed to be. It was deleted for improper reasons and encompasses abuse of power by administrators. Ruinsofman (talk) 04:40, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DRV

[edit]

I've deleted the misplaced DRV request - if you want to start a deletion review, please go to WP:DRV and follow the instructions there, starting with a polite note to the deleting administrator discussing what might be new since the deletion debate. "Abuse of power" arguments are a poor way to go, stick to what you've uncovered that might have altered the deletion debate. Acroterion (talk) 04:45, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Acroterion, could you check out my new DRV request and let me know if it is a better request. Ruinsofman (talk) 04:56, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You'll need to use the template on WP:DRV, fill it out, and paste it into the current DRV log - there are step-by-step instructions on how to do that at WP:DRV. You keep putting something into article space, which we have to delete, since it's not an article. Make sure you do each of the six steps. I'm about to sign off for the evening, will check back in the morning. Acroterion (talk) 04:59, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ok, thank you for your help. Ruinsofman (talk) 05:03, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Try again. You once again mistakenly created your request in article space instead of correctly at DRV. It should not be possible for you to create that page again; see if you do what it says at WP:DRV. LadyofShalott 05:37, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Hostile City Death Fest, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Stoner (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:53, 29 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

New deal for page patrollers

[edit]

Hi Ruinsofman,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:29, 13 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
