Speedy deletion nomination of Zahara Rubin
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Zahara Rubin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. jsfouche ☽☾ talk 07:54, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Zahara Rubin again
[edit]The article was tagged for speedy deletion but deletion was declined. The tag currently on the article refers only to contentious material being removed immediately. There is nothing contentious in the article so don't worry about that. But, as I mentioned at the Help Desk, you ought to find some more references that you can cite (rather than add as external links) to bolster claims of notability. Hope this helps. – ukexpat (talk) 18:02, 10 November 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for the message - please make sure you are logged in when editing and don't forget to sign your messages on talk pages. To answer your question, I don't think it's appropriate to move the Israel Museum link to the references section. If you can use that link as a citation for statements in the article, then it will appear in the references section. – ukexpat (talk) 17:37, 11 November 2010 (UTC)
- Re the images, you said on my talk page: I dare to write that you are missing the point of dealing with formative art. What you see and feel following what you see is the core of the experience and not what you read and think following it. That is the reason that moving the pictures hurting the impact of the article. With all due respect, this article is supposed to be a biographical article about an artist, not a treatise or exposition of her work. Articles are supposed to encyclopedic. I moved the images to a gallery because they overpowered the existing text - if a reader wants to see bigger versions, all they have to do is click on the thumbnails. I have bent over backwards to help you with this article (I even worked on the image of the artist herself to improve how it looked) and I object to your implication that I don't know what I am doing.
- Based on your user name would I be correct in assuming that you have some connection to the artist? If so, please read WP:COI. – ukexpat (talk) 16:59, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

[edit]Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Zahara Rubin. Doing so helps everyone to understand the intention of your edit (and prevents legitimate edits from being mistaken for vandalism). It is also helpful to users reading the edit history of the page. Thank you. ukexpat (talk) 21:11, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Overlinking
[edit]Please take a look at WP:OVERLINK for the reasons why I have reverted your recent linking of "Kibbutz" - there is no need to link more than once in such a short article. – ukexpat (talk) 17:50, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
- OK this is getting tiresome. There is no need to link "Kibbutz" more than once in this article. Thanks. – ukexpat (talk) 18:03, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
