Came across this while new page reviewing & am not entirely sure this worthy individual meets WP:GNG; if there was an aricle on Be Straw Free (which imo is notable) I'd favour redirecting to it...TheLongTone (talk) 16:32, 16 January 2018 (UTC)
Invitation to join Women in Red
[edit] Thank you for creating several articles on women and their works over the past few weeks. We have become aware of your contributions thanks to research undertaken by Bobo.03 at the University of Minnesota. We think you might be interested in becoming a member of our WikiProject Women in Red where we are actively trying to reduce Wikipedia's content gender gap. You can join by using the box at the top of the WiR page. But if you would like to receive news of our activities without becoming a member, you can simply add your name to our mailing list. In any case, thank you for actively contributing to the coverage of women (currently, 17.49% of English Wikipedia's biographies). Our priorities for March: | ||

Categories
[edit]Please don't add individuals to top-level categories like "Artists", "Sculptors" etc. It just creates work for other people to keep these categories clear. There are always one or more relevant sub-categories, and you should always add at the lowest appropriate category. Thanks. Johnbod (talk) 13:30, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

Invitation to participate in study
[edit]Hello,
I am E. Whittaker, I am working with Wikimedia’s Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.
Thank you Ewitch51 (talk) 21:57, 11 July 2018 (UTC)

List of Macedonian women writers moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, List of Macedonian women writers, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 12:19, 7 November 2018 (UTC)
- Hi @CASSIOPEIA: I'm actually confused by this decision to move the article to draft space. I noticed, in a list of international women's writers, that this page didn't yet exist. I looked at many other similar pages from List of Greek women writers, List of Bangladeshi women writers, List of Bolivian women writers, etc. None of them have references since all of the writers have links to other internal wiki pages. I'd love to understand why this page would be different - I can go in and find references for each of these writers, but I'm not sure why it's necessary. I was hoping to just start the page that is missing and for others to eventually add other writers and more details. Thanks so much. Rubberduckieyouretheone (talk) 07:34, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Rubberduckieyouretheone, Greetings to you. Please note that Lists do need group sources or it would use individual notability source if group sources would not be located. Lists is subject to notability requirement - pls see WP:LISTN. In Wikipedia there are thousand of article in the mainspace which are not notable or/and content claimed without a single source. One of the reasons is that Wikipedia editors are all volunteers and with only about 650 reviewers where by only half is active. We have close to 400 -500 articles submitted daily in AfC and NPP and many slip of our reviewing date or reviewrs do not know Lists also need sources to support subject notability and make to mainspace and one of the way to delete the article is via AfD nomination. Editor should not take what is in the mainspace as benchmark instead show follow the guidelines and good take sample of rate GA articles. What you need to do for this article to be accepted is to include independent, reliable sources which they would be easily located since the subjects in the lists already have their pages in Wikipedia. Just go to those pages and you should be able to find some of the sources there and inline citate them. Check out for referencing instruction. Once you have provide the inline citation, submit the draft article and send me a message and I will review it. Thank you. CASSIOPEIA(talk) 07:56, 8 November 2018 (UTC)
- Hi @CASSIOPEIA:, I've updated the references as much as I can for now and I hope this will be enough to get the article up. This is great way for me to learn. Thanks! Rubberduckieyouretheone (talk) 07:15, 11 November 2018 (UTC)

Deletion discussion about Inez Ortiz
[edit]Hello, Rubberduckieyouretheone
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Elmidae and it's nice to meet you :-)
I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Inez Ortiz, should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Inez Ortiz .
You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Elmidae}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

I have removed the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
tag from Millennium Management, which you proposed for deletion, because its deletion has previously been contested or viewed as controversial. Proposed deletion is not for controversial deletions. For this reason, proposed deletion is disallowed on articles that have previously been de-prodded, even by the page's creator, or which have previously been listed on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{proposed deletion}}
template back to the article, but feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! —KuyaBriBriTalk 14:59, 12 November 2019 (UTC)
- @Kuyabribri: Thanks. Sorry. I never did this before. I'll go add the AfD tag now. Rubberduckieyouretheone (talk) 07:08, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

Nomination of Milo Cress for deletion
[edit]The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Milo Cress until a consensus is reached, and anyone, including you, is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.Drmies (talk) 23:20, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
The article Marco Borges has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails to meet WP:NBIO; only source that can be accessed is own website/company (or maybe not, it is marked "failed verification".
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:44, 4 April 2024 (UTC)
