Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Yukhu has been reverted.
Your edit here to Yukhu was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. If the external link you inserted or changed was to a media file (e.g. a sound or video file) on an external server, then note that linking to such files may be subject to Wikipedia's copyright policy, as well as other parts of our external links guideline. If the information you linked to is indeed in violation of copyright, then such information should not be linked to. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Baku International Humanitarian Forum, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Hello, Toghrul Rahimli. I'm afraid that I have had to remove most of this article, as an investigation resulting from copyright issues raised above revealed that the bulk of it was directly translated from your sources.
We have great need of information on subjects especially that are not well covered in English sources, but the law forbids that we create those articles in this way. All of our articles need to be written by us, and not copied from other places or faithful translation of other content. You can read more about this at Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:25, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Armenia/Azerbaijan discretionary sanctions

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related conflicts. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Your recent editing history at Azerbaijani reconstruction of Karabakh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - Kevo327 (talk) 08:21, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Dicided to add this after seeing the article revision history, while you aren't edit warring in the moment, you are close to breaching 3rr. - Kevo327 (talk) 08:24, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Kevo327: thanks for the heads up. I hope talk pages would help with a fruitful discussion Toghrul R (t) 08:26, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Emin Huseynov (economist) moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Emin Huseynov (economist), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) In addition, there appears to be a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 18:58, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rationale

[edit]

Can you explain your rationale regarding this revert? I'm not following up on your reasoning. It seems like you add Azeri names in infoboxes and lead of Artsakh controlled territories like here and here, but when the same is done in Kalbajar for example, and for its historic and original name mind you, you revert me? Either you should undo all your double standard edits or revert yourself in Kalbajar, because this is just seems like pov pushing with poor reasoning. There isn't a standard defined for this, it's just your original research of a reason and double standards. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 12:59, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

ZaniGiovanni You have explained it — Artsakh (self-proclaimed NKR) controlled. Kalbajar is not controlled by them. They are internationally recognized parts of Azerbaijan, therefore Azerbaijani names have to be included Toghrul R (t) 13:06, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That doesn't justify removing the name from the lead, I hope you understand that. If it has notability like being its original historic name than it's more than enough of a reason to be in the lead with bold like Kalbajar. Please revert yourself, your reasoning is still insufficient. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:09, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
ZaniGiovanni the revert was due to the infobox, you're still free to edit the lead Toghrul R (t) 13:13, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, then you should revert yourself in the infoboxes of Martakert and Askeran if infobox is the issue, for the sake of consistency. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:18, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I'll enact on based on this talk discussion if there are no other issues. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:22, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ZaniGiovanni: I think I couldn't make myself clear. Aghdara and Askeran are controlled by the self-proclaimed state but are internationally recognized areas of Azerbaijan. Would it be logical to remove Azerbaijani names from the template? Of course, not. I get it, the area called Mardakert during the Soviet period, while Kalbajar has always been called this way, be it NKAO or Azerbaijan. For the sake of self-proclaimed state control, including Armenian alternative in the infobox might not cause a problem for the former NKAO cities, but not for Kalbajar, since it's a part of Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh Toghrul R (t) 13:28, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We shouldn't have double standards, this is my rationale. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:31, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ZaniGiovanni: not showing Azerbaijani name in Azerbaijan is a double standard FYI. Please, have Azerbaijani names back on Martakert and Askeran articles. Toghrul R (t) 13:33, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Replied below, and Azeri name is in the lead. Not sure why it also should be in the onfobox since it's under Artsakh.
Regarding Kelbajar, Karvachar is the original name of the town and should be noted with bold in lead, this is my rationale. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:36, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
And once again, this has nothing to do with Karvachar being the town's original name. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:34, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ZaniGiovanni: that's off-topic. We are talking about territorial integrities, not a place's historic name. If you have additions in this regard, you can add it in the article body Toghrul R (t) 13:36, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Not really off-topic, you are the one going off-topic. This is about lead names not about "integrities", I hope you understand that. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:37, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@ZaniGiovanni: Infoboxes should contain stable information, and Azerbaijani names in the cities are stable enough. It followed Stepanakert convention, while you persist to remove them. We haven't reached to a conclusion to include this discussion in the edit summary Toghrul R (t) 13:41, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
You didn't answer to me how Kelbajar's historic name isn't "stable" for the infobox. Once again, we shouldn't have double standards. And all this integrity talk has nothing to do with Karvachar being the town's original name, this is really simple. Either we have infobox for all or just in the lead, what do you say? ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:46, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
btw Shushi and Stepanakert had separate talk discussions and consensus for their versions, so this isn't really a justification for anything. ZaniGiovanni (talk) 13:51, 3 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Adding a historic (between 1994 to 2020) name to the infobox header is not acceptable in my book. One might say it's an older name (according to the pro-Armenian books published in Erivan in 1999 and 2001, respectively), there's no historic proof of that except for those references. Those information should not be included on infoboxes, but in the article body, as it is now. Take Tbilisi and Saint Petersburg for instance. Your reverts on the two articles are not justified, please have them reinstated. Toghrul R (t) 06:33, 4 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For Azerbaijan POV

Same?

[edit]

Hi, i came from Bengali Wikipedia. Jinn Mosque was created by you. There is also Chin Mosque located in same place. Are those same or two different mosque? --আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 19:01, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@আফতাবুজ্জামান hello. They are totally different mosques as their names suggest. You may take a look at their photos at commons:Category:Chin Mosque and commons:Category:Jinn Mosque. You might see their Mihrabs and exteriors are not the same. Also, they are located 4 to 5 streets apart: Chin mosque is located behind the Aliagha Vahid Monument and the other is in inner streets of the Old City Toghrul R (t) 07:09, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Using OSM, please add more precise location on wikidata. Currently both mosques has exact same coordinates. Also if possible, rewrite their introduction. Currently both are almost same. আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 17:01, 4 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi thanks for creating this article. When we translate or borrow from other language wikis it’s a requirement to acknowledge the source. The best way to do this is to include it in your edit summary (e.g. “translated from az.wiki”) and there’s also a translation template you can add to the talk page. I’ve added it for you. Happy editing and please leave a message on my talk page if you need any help Mccapra (talk) 13:39, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Mccapra thank you for the tip. I have been writing the articles in my mother tongue for a while and now I feel like translating them into English; this was one of them. I'll indicate the direct translations in the upcoming articles. Cheers, Toghrul R (t) 13:48, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
