Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to R v Grillo and Grillo may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

DYK for Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services
On 4 December 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services department owns a pumper manufactured by Dennis Specialist Vehicles in 1925 that is still functional? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Karnataka Fire and Emergency Services. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Message from Playerlips
Why don't you put my contribution back up and leave it to all readers to make up their minds on whether my edit is useful at least for a week or so. Thanks, playerlips Playerlips (talk) 17:21, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- This is an encyclopedia; not a blog. We work by building consensus. In any case, your edit wasn't appropriate, as it lacked sources, and seemed to be WP:Original Research. If you want other readers to see your work and comment on it; please bring it to the Talk Page of the article and not the article itself. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 17:29, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
You seem to be an Irish Censor tracking me. If you are not then please put my contribution back on the talk page of the article yourself with a link from the article to my contribution Playerlips (talk) 19:45, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- You seem to be a believer of conspiracy theories. Neither am I Irish nor do I have any interest in Christianity. I'm an Indian, Hindu who found your edit using Huggle, a program that lets me know of changes on the fly. I found your edit to be unconstructive and hence undid it. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 20:04, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Well, I don't know. Since you are online and say you are Indian let me ask this, Have you interest in the late Osho (Rajneesh Chandra Mohan) and the Shree Rajneesh Ashram in Poona, India ? Playerlips (talk) 20:24, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- No I don't. If you want to know my interests, you could read my userpage. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 20:28, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Well Osho was an interesting character but I wouldn't have been a sannyasin myself. I looked at your userpage briefly. What am I supposed to think other than you sound like a "virtual vigilante". Tell me in simple terms about huggle Playerlips (talk) 21:03, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- Read WP:HG. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 21:11, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
I read it briefly It didn't make much sense. Guess Dougweller is the Censor and you are the "friendly talk page stalker". Goodnight Playerlips (talk) 21:17, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
- You are evidently mistaken. There is not Censor, or talk page stalker right now. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 10:57, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
Hello Rsrikanth05, I ran across the article since it was featured at DYK. Frankly, I'm puzzled that this was passed. The hook was utterly boring, and the prose below pedestrian: clearly written by someone whose first language is not English, it needed serious rewriting for economy and clarity. Moreover, at least two of the wikilinks were simply incorrect. Finally, there were four references, and three of those were all to the same article. In essence, this shouldn't have passed, if only because with so few references there's very little to say, besides all the other problems I noted. You made only one minor edit to the article, and it didn't address a problem as significant as the ones I just addressed. In other words, this was a thoroughly insufficient DYK review and I would urge you to spend more time and attention on them: DYK has a bad enough reputation already. Thank you. Drmies (talk) 22:28, 12 December 2013 (UTC)
- I personally found the hook interesting. The hook by itself had good prose. The article did need some cleaning up, but as far as language was concerned, I found it acceptable. -_Rsrikanth05 (talk) 04:02, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
- Well, I couldn't disagree more. As a DYK reviewer it is your job to do cleanup: correcting wikilinks and references is the least of it. You can't send anything to the front page that needs this much work. Drmies (talk) 00:48, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- Fine then. I'll ensure that such an issue doesn't happen by not reviewing any more DYK noms unless I need it for QPQ. Matter solved. As for the cleaning up; nobody objected, and I found the article decent enough. But then, yeah, it's probably my fault. --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 11:23, 14 December 2013 (UTC)

Tamil Nadu Fire and Rescue Services
Hi Srikanth, please check my edits in the article. At this point, with DYK pending, I don't want to mess the article.--Challengethelimits (talk) 16:26, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
- Seems fine. So long as everything is sourced reliably, it's alright/ --Rsrikanth05 (talk) 19:32, 14 December 2013 (UTC)
