I'm a carbon-based life form. :)
I've placed a boilerplate AFD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/James Berardinelli (2nd nomination), using your comment from the article's talk page. If you'd like to expand or clarify that rationale, feel free. Leave me a note if you have any questions. Thanks! UltraExactZZ Said ~ Did 14:13, 28 May 2013 (UTC)

James the Joker
[edit]While the James Berardinelli page unquestionably needs some work, I do not feel it was appropriate for you to refer to him as a "joker" and pull a Dale Gribble in accusing him, in a completely evidence-free statement, of trying to spread his name on Wikipedia. Simply put, he appears because every movie gets reviews, and it appears he reviews a lot of movies. (Or it's possible you were being sarcastic).--Sunshineisles2 (talk) 19:41, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- I referred to him as a "joker" because he is a person of no consequence whose name is scattered across Wiki for no good reason. Someone put references to him and his site in numerous reviews; in the majority of such cases it turns out to be the subject himself using Wiki to drum up publicity. Furthermore, I don't feel it's appropriate for you to come here and compare me to a cartoon paranoiac in an attempt to browbeat me on the subject. If you expect me to respond to any more of your comments you'll refrain from using insulting hyperbole. Rpundurs (talk) 19:47, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- I'd argue he does have some consequence -- limited, yes, but he's not an entirely insignificant person, as he was acknowledged by some of the more important members of his work. All I'm saying is that you really didn't need call him a "joker", in reference to an action that he would most likely have nothing to do with. --Sunshineisles2 (talk) 19:53, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you for your opinion. Please restrict your arguments about his significance to the AFD discussion. Rpundurs (talk) 19:58, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for being respectful. I cast my opinion on the AFD the other day, but I just noticed the "joker" post at the top and that struck me as unprofessional.--Sunshineisles2 (talk) 20:01, 3 June 2013 (UTC)
