Fort Edmonton (Park)
[edit]Hey Rpmullan - sorry I've taken so long to get back to you. I'm basically indifferent as to whether information on the fort and the attraction are covered in the same article or different ones. I do feel that both should have extensive coverage; it looks like you're doing some great work in your sandbox in expanding the coverage of the attraction. I'm not sure if it's worth doing the split, though, unless there's a similar expansion of coverage for the fort itself. Anyway, these are just my views, and they're not especially well-developed ones; please let me know if you'd like my thoughts on anything else. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:14, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- That's great. If there was enough information to clearly sustain two separate articles, I'd certainly support a split. I wouldn't object to a split before that, either, as long as the two articles were linked to one another (possibly with a hatnote). Basically, I rarely have strong opinions on merge/split questions so long as all the information I think should be included is included. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:30, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- I'd say be bold, and bring the articles into whatever state you think they should be in. Probably nobody will object, and if anybody does you've just entered into WP:BRD, which is fine. Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:52, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Separation Anxiety copyvio
[edit]Thanks for pointing out the copyvio in the Separation Anxiety article. I've corrected my mistake (and I appreciate the politeness you used in mentioning it). Happy editing! Yvh11a (Talk • Contribs) 03:23, 17 March 2008 (UTC)
Edmonton meetup
[edit]Hello - I'm contacting you with this message because you have indicated that you're from the Edmonton area - if you are not actually in Edmonton, I apologize for bothering you; unfortunately, the sort of spamming I'm doing isn't conducive to reading everybody's userpages thoroughly. I am investigating the possibility of creating a Wikipedia meetup in Edmonton for sometime during the spring or summer of 2008. If you're interested, please visit Wikipedia:Meetup/Edmonton, add yourself to the list of interested editors, and watchlist the page. Cheers, Sarcasticidealist (talk) 00:05, 28 March 2008 (UTC)
File source problem with File:Rowand.jpg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Rowand.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:08, 24 March 2014 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
