[edit]Hello, I'm CollectiveSolidarity. I noticed that in this edit to Medri Bahri, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 00:14, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to Medri Bahri. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism can result in the loss of editing privileges. Thank you. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 00:25, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
Buddy check what He did 3 days ago please! He deleted many Historical information. Don't you see it? Can't you get this page to what it was like 3 days ago? Roy744 (talk) 00:30, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
Check the last edit that happened 2 or 3 day's. This is real vandalism. He deleted half of the page. Roy744 (talk) 00:30, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
Why did you deleted all the information about Wube Haile Maryam and others?? Roy744 (talk) 00:33, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Roy744. Apparently those additions were made by a sockpuppet account. Edits made by socks are against site policy on banned users, so you’ll have to talk to the user who removed the information the sock posted. Just ask the user if you can reinstate the edits. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 01:08, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
- Administrator note: CollectiveSolidarity, that is not so. If Roy744 feels the edits are constructive, they are free to add them, but they then take full responsibility for their veracity and so on. The possibility that Roy744 is that sock (or a sock) would be a sperate matter, which if you feel is warranted, you may bring to WP:SPI or WP:ANI. But, again, if they are legit, then they do not need to secure to permission of the editor who had previously removed the addition in question — that is not a thing. Thanks. - @El C Sorry about that. I was just concerned that the remover might also have a content conflict with the edits, hence the user removed them. That is why I wanted Roy to ask the remover for an all-clear. By all means, this is a blunder on my part. @Roy744, go ahead and be bold and reinstate the edits. Once again, this is a mistake on my part. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 14:25, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
- No worries, CollectiveSolidarity. Roy744 can't edit the page, though, since I protected it for a year and they are not yet WP:AUTOCONFIRMED. El_C 14:32, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
- Yeah. I’ll consider the statements above as an edit request. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 14:46, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

During the year 1831 Wube Haile Maryam ( warlord from semien ) ruled significant parts of the Medri Bahri Kingdom. So why is He not mentioned? Roy744 (talk) 15:59, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
- @Roy744 I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean. Can you make an edit request on Talk:Medri Bahri and list it in a "Change X to Y" format? If appropriate, please provide a reliable source. CollectiveSolidarity (talk) 16:21, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
Can you please open the page for 3 minutes so I can edit the sources and you will see it for yourself? Roy744 (talk) 17:04, 5 July 2022 (UTC)

1831 the etnhic Amhara warlord Wube Haile Maryam conquered and ruled the Tigrinya speaking provinces of Tigray and parts of modern day Eritrea. Wube controlled significant parts of the Medri Bahri such as Akele Guzai. Wube and his army even reached the Bogos area, a dependency of the Hamasen lords of the Mereb Mellash. Wube was thus able to control all the caravan routes to the Red Sea, although his claim to the Ottoman port of Massawa was unsuccessful. Wube is remembered in Eritrea a ruthless and brutal warlord Roy744 (talk) 19:08, 5 July 2022 (UTC)
