Hallo and thanks for creating Karen ní Mheallaigh (I've moved it from the original title). Just a couple of points:

  • I'm not sure whether it should be at Karen ní Mheallaigh, the form she uses, or Karen Ní Mheallaigh, which seems to be the most common format, but the hyphen in your original title seems not to be used, and the accent on the "i" is always present in this abbreviation (see Celtic_onomastics#Surname_prefixes, which is where I ended up checking).
  • We don't refer to people by their given name - that's for celebrity fandom not for an encyclopedia
  • It's useful to link places like universities she's taught or studied at
  • Tiny point: Section headings like "Selected publications" only capitalise the first word
  • Major point: There are firm rules about "Notability", so please expand the article to show the ways in which she satisfied WP:NPROF: scholarly reviews of her books, that sort of thing, to protect her from the deletionist tendency.

There's a lot to learn about editing Wikipedia but it's an interesting journey. Welcome and Happy Editing! PamD 08:44, 21 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
