A belated welcome!

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, RositaTWD. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Again, welcome! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:40, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

December 2019

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm ToBeFree. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Lars Sullivan, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so it was removed. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:40, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

It's a mistake, i'm not like that, what's your problem ?--RositaTWD (talk) 19:34, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi RositaTWD, similar content has been repeatedly added, and repeatedly removed from the article. There is currently no reliable source that confirms the rumor, and Wikipedia is not a platform to spread rumors further. You had correctly added a reference to your edit, but the referenced website is not a reliable source. It lacks editorial oversight and journalistic quality; it is more of a self-published blog than a reliable newspaper. We need to be careful not to use such websites as the source of information about living people. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 20:06, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
You don't understand, i add nothing, i delete a fake information, wrong person ; it's another person added this — Preceding unsigned comment added by RositaTWD (talkcontribs) 20:42, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Oh god. I had looked at least three times at Fylindfotberserk's removal of the information and didn't notice that it was IIconicDuo, not you, who has added it. On the contrary, you had removed it, which is exactly the right thing to do there. I am deeply sorry, RositaTWD. I was wrong indeed; please disregard my incorrect warning and the incorrect explanation. I will strikethrough them. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 05:33, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It's okay :) and sorry for the language i'm french, i try to speak english better than i can

Important notice

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

A barnstar for you!

The Defender of the Wiki Barnstar
For removing unsourced content from a biography of a living person, defending the quality and verifiability of the encyclopedia. And for having the patience to explain my mistake to me, above. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 05:35, 30 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Su Yung and the Roster page

[edit]

Hey, with Su Yung, were you going by impactwrestling.com/wrestlers or impactwrestling.com/roster? Because for whatever reason, they're now using the one with the roster extension.SkylerLovefist (talk) 03:03, 14 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

He has NOT signed with WWE - the source is total rubbish. Please remove it. 2001:8003:5130:2601:4008:B074:34C5:EE12 (talk) 12:38, 10 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

To follow up on this from the IP - the source you used is indeed unreliable and it should never be used. I have replaced it with a reliable source. Please review the unreliable source list on this page. Wrestling Headlines is listed as unreliable. Thank you. Addicted4517 (talk) 00:08, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
