Information icon Hello, I'm B3251. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to New Brunswick Teachers' Federation have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. B3251(talk) 19:45, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

How is it destructive to New / Nouveau-Brunswick to call an anglophone association, an anglophone association. Why is the francophone teachers' association called that? Rosellam (talk) 20:16, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It already says that the anglophone association represents anglophones. I don't understand how adding "although their name pretends otherwise" relates to your response. B3251(talk) 20:52, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
the anglophone teachers' assoc. name says they are the NB Teachers' Assoc. The francophone teachers' assoc. name says they are the NB francophone teachers' assoc. Why is that? The name of the NB Teachers' Assoc. does not represent what they are. Rosellam (talk) 21:37, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm still having a hard time trying to understand what you mean, sorry. Could you explain further? I think I understand what you mean now: the Anglophone name does not specifically mention that it is for Anglophones, unlike the Francophone one. In that case, we cannot do anything because those are the official names used for the organizations. B3251(talk) 22:14, 9 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Of course we cannot touch their name but we can make clear that the name can lead to confusion by adding something like: though their name is not specific. Rosellam (talk) 09:43, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
