You changed the conductor of the premiere from the composer to Ludwig Rottenberg. Can you state a reliable source for this, since AmadeusOnline (see note 2 of the article) states: "dirigi il compositore". Though it is correct that Ludwig Rottenberg was erster Kapellmeister at the Frankfurt Opera at the time, I have no source mentioning him as the conductor of the premiere of Die Gezeichneten. Der Schatzgräber

[edit]

Thank you for clarifying this issue, but before deleting inline citations, please check whether these are not used a second time in the article. You removed two inline citations, which were reused further in the article (that is the reason I used ref name =). Now there are two cite errors in the notes section at the bottom.Francesco Malipiero (talk) 19:11, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I will correct these errors. Francesco Malipiero (talk) 19:21, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hello "Francesco" - I am relatively new to this, so please forgive my mistakes. It is great that you have started these Schreker opera pages, but if you can somehow get hold of Christopher Hailey's book (now out of print), it will help you enormously with information. I will help where I can.

I am relatively new to WikiPedia myself but I have done some editing and created a few articles the last few months. Thanks for your help on the articles, there is more to come on Schreker. Dont't let these little editing beginner's mistakes discourage you: all help is welcome. You might want to check out Wikipedia:WikiProject Opera if you plan on contributing further to opera articles. One more thing: you should end all your posts on talk pages with four tildes, that automatically adds your user-name and a date/time stamp .Francesco Malipiero (talk) 19:42, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
If this is the book you are referring to, I am afraid these prices are above my budget :( Francesco Malipiero (talk) 21:13, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have just created a stub-class article on this Schreker opera. Your contributions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks beforehand. --Francesco Malipiero (talk) 18:55, 11 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have made a start with some little corrections but don't have time to do much more at the moment. By the way, the current production on Bonn is meant to be extraordinary - I hope to get over to see it in the New Year. Keep up the good work!

I meant "in Bonn"...

Schreker

[edit]

Thank you for copy-editing Der ferne Klang. The dedication reads "Wir widmen die Neuproduktion von Franz Schrekers am 18. August 1912 in Frankfurt uraufgeführter Oper Der Ferne Klang Michael Gielen (1927–2019), der ..." - no word of memory. "We dedicate to Michael Gielen". - I'd also prefer "by the Frankfurt Opera", meaning the company, because the house meant then is not the same today. I am procrastinating an article about the company ... - If you haven't yet check out the trailer. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:16, 4 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Zemlinsky Psalm 83

[edit]

Sorry, I reverted because the source has a different world premiere. Please add it with a source that mentions Vienna. No link for that capital, but for the orchestra please. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:26, 12 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I was actually getting the information from the score which is embedded as a PDF on the page I linked to. The 2015 date, confusingly, refers to the premiere of the Antony Beaumont edition, not of the work itself. I can find no other useful link online so the reference may have to be done just as plain text.Roper0266 (talk) 15:32, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I am planning a Wiki entry for Die Seejungfrau, which really needs a separate article. Certainly more than Psalm 83!Roper0266 (talk) 15:39, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Der Schatzgräber, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Oldenburg. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Die Seejungfrau

[edit]

Thank you for your great work on Die Seejungfrau! I was just about to start an article on it when I noticed that you created one already. Next one on my list is the Clarinet Trio, Op. 3. intforce (talk) 23:36, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for adding the recordings section, something I was hoping to do myself at some point. By the way, there are 2 harps in this work. The Clarinet Trio would be a good one. The Maeterlinck Songs and Second Quartet may qualify too. Roper0266 (talk) 08:34, 9 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
