Hello, I'm Barek. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Federal Reserve System because it didn't appear constructive. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 05:16, 19 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

April 2013

[edit]

Hello, I'm Sitush. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Kamma (caste) without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry: I restored the removed content. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Sitush (talk) 18:25, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello, I'm Boing! said Zebedee. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kamma (caste), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. It is especially important to provide reliable sources to support caste classifications -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:23, 2 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

2002 Gujarat violence

[edit]

Not sure what you are trying to do here. See also should be a wikipedia article. If you are trying to suggest a book, a "further reading" section might be in order. If you are trying to cite a book, see template:cite book Cheers Jim1138 (talk) 09:33, 22 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

December 2013

Information icon Hello, I'm Darkness Shines. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the page 2002 Gujarat violence, because they seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Darkness Shines (talk) 12:13, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis into articles, you may be blocked from editing. Wikipedia cannot claim that something is 'the true story' in the way you are attempting, nor do we have section headings with only urls. If you continue to do this you will almost certainly be blocked. Dougweller (talk) 12:47, 20 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Medical tourism in India. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion. Thank you.

Please be careful about what websites you add to articles. As your main contributions to Wikipedia are adding websites, please read WP:ELNO and WP:LINKSPAM before resuming. If there is anything you ever need, or have any questions, please ask. Thank you, and happy editing. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 08:40, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Revert of your edit on Medical Tourism

[edit]

I had a quick look at the website that you provided with your edit on Medical tourism and it seems to me, that all of the complaints addressed in it relate more to locals than to tourists visiting India for medical purposes. Therefore I removed your edit. Your edit seems more properly suited for the article Health in India. - Takeaway (talk) 09:36, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your image upload(s)

[edit]

You uploaded the following as public domain with the edit summaries "Uploading a file from a free published source using". I don't quite understand how they are public domain. I can't find anywhere at that website saying so. Could you please tell me why you believe they are in the public domain. Many thanks.

Anna Frodesiak (talk) 09:39, 13 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Just a reminder to respond to this matter. Thank you, Anna Frodesiak (talk) 23:25, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

[edit]

Hello again. Looking at Wikipedia:External links, I see no good reason why the external links you've been adding are appropriate. Many seem to be less than neutral, and all should be in reference form supporting prose based on the link. Please consider, instead of adding such external links, writing prose and using the link to support that content. Thank you.

Your recent edits

[edit]

I really have a concern with your recent additions. They seem to be far from neutral. Not only should they not be external links, but many have a strong point of view. Please, once again, consider adding the content in prose, neutrally, based on the source, adding the source as a reference. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:20, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I'm asking you to stop

[edit]

Actually, we've talked about this before and you've just carried on. Please, from now on, only add external links that comply with Wikipedia:External links. If you just ignore my concerns, you may end up blocked from editing. I don't want to see that happen. I just really, really want you to address this issue. Thank you in advance for your understanding. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 12:30, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I have just blocked you for 31 hours after reading the remark above, and several other threads on this talkpage. I have reverted a couple of your edits as utterly inappropriate - the external links completely fail the external links guideline, bordering on advocacy for a cause (which seems a recurring theme through your edits). Please stop, reconsider (read our policies and guidelines, you've been pointed to them over and over), and discuss before adding. --Dirk Beetstra T C 13:08, 16 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

2 weeks now. Care to address the concerns? --Dirk Beetstra T C 20:54, 19 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I've reset the block because of block evasion, see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Ronanin for details. Mark Arsten (talk) 22:33, 30 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

File permission problem with File:LK Advani with With Yitzak Rabin.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:LK Advani with With Yitzak Rabin.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:14, 2 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
