“Angels in Islamic art often appear in illustrations of stories from the Qur'an.”

 	This point needs some qualification: in what kinds of books are these stories written down and illustrated? Qur’an manuscripts are not illustrated, but episodes connected to accounts of the holy book certainly appear in other texts.

For “later depictions” - what period? Overall, try to add dates (even approximate ones) when possible – this helps

Peer review by Elizabeth Carleton: I really like the images that you added to this section. The descriptions of angels' appearances in different texts is valuable - I would focus more on this and make it clear which texts you are drawing from. Maybe add more about the specific iconography associated with angels and what it means - what is the significance of the crowns, for example?
