Regarding The Pettit Project: I believe you copy-and-pasted the biography from the band's website. There is nothing on that website to indicate that it was released under copyleft licensing; please see Wikipedia:Copyrights. If I am mistaken please let me know. Otherwise, that text cannot remain on Wikipedia, as WP's copyright policies are rather strict. Cheers, --Paul Erik 02:48, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Romliker. Thanks for your message clarifying the situation, and that you spoke to the website manager. Unfortunately Wikipedia does not allow copyrighted material even if verbal permission is granted. In order for the bio to be on Wikipedia, there would have to be an explicit statement on the website http://www.thepettitproject.com/**/aboutbios.php that says the bio may be freely shared under the GFDL scheme. I looked at the website just now and it actually says "all content copyright 2007" which means it may not be freely shared. Perhaps you could let the manager know. Thanks, --Paul Erik 23:34, 15 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is annoying because my friends were over one night and decided to use my account to vandalize ... it pissed me off when I wasn't even able to revert the changes.

Your request to be unblocked has been granted for the following reason(s):

Autoblock of 24.72.55.25 lifted or expired.

Nope, it was the software re-setting the IP block when you logged into the system, and then holding that block for 24 more hours, then resetting again. MBisanz talk 21:15, 12 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
