- My labour tends to focus on lexicographical content rather than encyclopaedic content, so I’m not sure that I can be of much use here. I usually come here to post questions. But because of some unpleasant experiences in the past, I always expect somebody to ‘hat’ my topics and not tell me why because they think that it’s ‘obvious’ to me. I may as well use a casino. --Romanophile (talk) 17:11, 27 June 2015 (UTC)
Monkey butt
[edit]Hey Romanophile! I just wanted to check that you had stuck around for your answer at WP:RDS#Chimpanzee#Anatomy_and_physiology. I now realize that BB was confused by the title of your question -- a link to the section and article where you expected to find the answer -- into thinking that you were asking a question more suited for that article's talk page than the reference desk. My note here was in response to BB's remark, but I meant what I said, that your question was well written and quite appropriate for the reference desk. Cheers! -- ToE 00:36, 28 June 2015 (UTC) (I'm unable to resist this "Monkey butt" heading, in spite of Robert McClenon pointing out to me that Chimpanzees are not monkeys. Monkey butt!)
di niente
[edit]An easy one, "de nudda". :) --Dk1919 (talk) 21:42, 25 March 2016 (UTC)
- Milli gratzias. You could also say "gratzias medas". Forgive me for being a little blunt, but might I inquire as to the nature of your interest in Sardinian language, if I'm allowed to?--Dk1919 (talk) 11:55, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
- Ah, ok! Scusa ancora per la domanda. :) Il tuo interesse per il sardo e le altre lingue mi fa molto piacere. Ad avercene in Italia persone come te ;) Saluti.--Dk1919 (talk) 13:03, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

Sardinian
Saludos.--Dk1919 (talk) 23:31, 20 August 2016 (UTC)
what's with the parens?
[edit]I see that here you have enclosed your signature in Triple parentheses when making the statement "I’m surprised to find another echoer around here!". An immediate and satisfactory explanation (I doubt there is one, but I'm willing to listen) would probably be beneficial to avoid escalation. Herostratus (talk) 22:12, 18 December 2017 (UTC)
- Have you read the article you linked to? Quote: "In the wake of these actions, some users, both Jews and non-Jews, have intentionally placed their own names within triple parentheses as a sign of solidarity." (emphasis mine) See also User_talk:The_Quixotic_Potato#Whats_with_the_parens?. (((The Quixotic Potato))) (talk) 01:53, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
- Yeah, OK... I guess. No, had not seen that part. OK, forget it. Herostratus (talk) 02:45, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Hi Romanophile, one of your references/sources of the your article above pointed to of New York Times where no exact article there - see here [1]. There are several articles published by New York Times on Ivaylo Ivanov in the net, you might want to relink/recite the correct source in your article. Thank you. Elon Musk
[edit]I have removed your addition there, nothing in the biography supports him being a notable anti communist. Please feel free to open a talkpage discussion if you disagree, thanks Govindaharihari (talk) 19:47, 11 February 2018 (UTC)
