[edit]Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articlesย as you apparently did to Philip Weiss. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Morbidthoughts (talk) 23:38, 24 July 2022 (UTC)
- I did not add "original research" or "novel syntheses" to the Philip Weiss Wikipedia biography. The two articles referenced in this Wikipedia biography which claim Weiss is an antisemite are NOT sourced. I can either point this out in bracketed notes following these claims [Example: Weiss did not actually murder President Abraham Lincoln on March 30, 2022, as the unsourced Wikipedia articles quoted in the Wikipedia biography suggests, because Lincoln died on April 15, 1865.] or I can delete the entire section of the Wikipedia biography claiming Weiss is an antisemite because this section consists of nothing but false claims from these two unsourced articles. Which would you prefer I do? Rodger Kroell (talk) 03:08, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- Those bracket notes are your analysis of those opinion columns and considered original research. You were supposed to delete the text that you dispute and then discuss the removal on the talk page and then the BLP Noticeboards; not insert your commentary into the article itself. - Thank you. I will do this from now on.~~~Rodger Kroell Rodger Kroell (talk) 06:53, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
