A tag has been placed on DEAf PEdESTRIANS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

If the page you created was a test, please use the sandbox for any other experiments you would like to do. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Cheers, JetLover (talk) 22:56, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Now mister Star, let's not go around calling people assholes, mkay. The thing is, it was just nonsense. All it said was "deaf pedestrians." No need for a page like that. Cheers, JetLover (talk) 23:37, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh and PS, I didn't delete it. I'm not an admin, but I'd one some day. And please try to use better spelling and grammar. Thank you. Cheers, JetLover (talk) 23:39, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Try [1] this. Cheers, JetLover (talk) 23:41, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The article Deaf pedestrians has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for musicians, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 23:45, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Ipod classic.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ipod classic.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 04:07, 8 September 2007 (UTC)

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Hi Rocknrollstar328!
We thank you for uploading Image:Lunar Eclipse at 10.21.JPG, but there is a problem. Your image is currently missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. Unless you can help by adding a copyright tag, it may be deleted by an Administrator. If you know this information, then we urge you to add a copyright tag to the image description page. We apologize for this, but all images must confirm to policy on Wikipedia.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks so much for your cooperation.

Fair use rationale for Image:Demo-shmemooooo.JPG

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Demo-shmemooooo.JPG. You've indicated that the image meets Wikipedia's criteria for non-free content, but there is no explanation of why it meets those criteria. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. If you have any questions, please post them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions.

Thank you for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 20:45, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The article Demo-shmemo has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to fail WP:NALBUMS due to lack of WP:GNG. My search only turned up press release type coverage and social media postings.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. [edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Demo-shmemooooo.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:59, 27 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
