ApnaCourse in Wikipedia
[edit]Dear Sir,
May we request you to guide us as to how we can improve our article for Wikipedia. Do you have any tips that we can pick and make corrections to the article. we want our company profile to be up in Wikipedia which is the most sorted and searched site. Ours is a humble beginning and we do not want to by pass any of the rules laid down by Wikipedia.
Thank you --Rockjames630 (talk) 12:26, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
- Wikipedia does not accept articles on companies simply because a company wants to have one. A company or organization must meet Wikipedia's notability criteria by already having been the subject of writings from reliable sources that are independent of the company.
- You should never write about your own company due to the inherent conflict of interest. Your association with the company will impair your ability to write from the required netural point of view. Wikipedia has no interest in what a company wants to say about itself or how it wants to be portrayed.
- Lastly, using Wikipedia for the purpose of publicity and promotion is explicitly disallowed. If your only interest is to tell the world about your company, there are many alternative outlets that allow this type of writing. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:29, 6 March 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:ApnaCourse
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:ApnaCourse, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
