Ways to improve Brahmastra (2019 film)
[edit]Hi, I'm 331dot. Rocking987, thanks for creating Brahmastra (2019 film)!
I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please review the notability guidelines for films, specifically the ones for future films. This article will need sources indicating it has commenced principal photography or that the production itself is otherwise notable.
The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.
331dot (talk) 12:51, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
The article Brahmastra (2019 film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication the notability guidelines for films(WP:NFILM) have been met, specifically those for future films (WP:NFF) as there is no indication that principle photography has commenced on this film, or that the production itself is notable.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 331dot (talk) 13:20, 11 October 2017 (UTC)
Nomination of Brahmastra (2019 film) for deletion
[edit]A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Brahmastra (2019 film) is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Brahmastra (2019 film) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article. 331dot (talk) 10:08, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
Hi there, I redirected Kesari (2019 film) to Anurag Singh (director). When you create an article about an unreleased film, you must establish that the film has begun principal photography. This is Film Article 101. Per WP:NFF:
Films that have not been confirmed by reliable sources to have commenced principal photography should not have their own articles, as budget issues, scripting issues and casting issues can interfere with a project well ahead of its intended filming date. The assumption should also not be made that because a film is likely to be a high-profile release it will be immune to setbacks—there is no "sure thing" production. Until the start of principal photography, information on the film might be included in articles about its subject material, if available. Sources must be used to confirm the start of principal photography after shooting has begun.
(Emphasis theirs)
When you can establish that principal photography has begun, the article may be restored. If you keep prematurely creating articles like this and Brahmastra (2019 film), you will likely find that your hard work keeps gets deleted. Seems a waste of energy. Thanks. Savyasachi (2018 film) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Savyasachi (2018 film), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please follow the confirms on the Articles for Creation template atop the page. — Zawl 14:34, 9 February 2018 (UTC)
