Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Martin181". The reason given for Martin181's block is: "violating 3RR on Brock Lesnar for the 4th time in 2 1/2 weeks".

Decline reason: Apologies, but this doesn't appear to be a shared or widely shared IP address, and your account is very new, which makes it seem possible that you're the same person. If you are a legitimate editor, please be reminded that autoblocks will expire in a day or two. Apologies. Luna Santin 04:25, 29 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Its ok.

It is indeed a free use image.

Only problem is that its not free. Image is copyrighted by World Wrestling Entertainment. You can't just upload a copyrighted image and tag it as being free. Please see Wikipedia:Image use policy for further info. -- bulletproof 3:16 06:07, 31 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh ok sorry that.

License tagging for Image:Martel WCW.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Martel WCW.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 07:06, 31 January 2007 (UTC) Thanks for the advice.

I think my block must be a mistake

Decline reason:

You were blocked because the blocking admin believes you are the same person as Martin181. -- Yamla 23:06, 1 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

This is my last request for an unblock. The reason i am requesting this is beacuse i don´t think it´s fair to me when i haven´t really done anything. Unless this account violates any rule in editing i don´t think i should be blocked.

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but that's not the way it works. Users attempting to flaunt wikipedia policy will often use two accounts, one that acts within the rules, and one that does not. This is called a "sockpuppet" account, which is what you have been accused of. Martin181 has indeed violated wikipedia policy, and since this account appears to be the same IP (according to the blocking admin), it is blocked as well. This should not be too surprising; you can't get out from paying a parking ticket by changing your name, and so you can't expect to get out from a block by changing your account. So actually it's completely "fair" to have a block here as well. If, on the other hand, you are not Martin181, given that it appears to be the same IP you will have to offer some sort of argument to demonstrate this. Anything cogent will do. -- Maury 00:32, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Excactly how can i prove i am not Martin181? I really am not i did have a previous account but that one was very old so i decided to refresh things and change to this name and know i keep getting blocked. I don´t know what to do about it really it just feels unfair can´t we atleast try with this account and see if i violate any rule as the other person beacuse i can tell you i don´t.

Hey I realize this won't make you feel much better, but don't worry too much about these accusations, they get tossed around all the time. Basically you just have to describe your connection to the internet, and convince the blocking admin (not me, sorry) that it is possible that there is another person using the same IP address. Make sure it's a detailed argument, because the IP will be checked. If it appears to come from a non-shared IP (shared would be a coffee shop or school, something like that) then it's unlikely you can convince anyone too easily. I've seen all the "my brother did it" reports, trust me, those don't fly. If you are editing from a shared IP, simply document it. Maury 01:07, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh man thanks for the advice but the problem is im not that much of a computer guy. I guess i will have to sit out this block. Can somebody just tell me for how long?

Request reason:

Can i get unblocked with the exceptiong that if i violate any rule under this account or ip address it gets blocked permamently?

Decline reason:

Wikipedia:Sock puppetry prohibits the use of multiple or alternate accounts to evade blocks. Considering that both you and Martin181 (talk contribs) have been editing American pro-wrestling related articles from a Swedish IP address, it's no coincidence and you are both the same person. So no, this account is not going to be unblocked ever. You'll need to appeal the block on your original account instead, and since you've tried to evade the original block, you may need to wait a month before being given a second chance. --  Netsnipe  ►  05:23, 2 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
