SO100 - instructor comments
[edit]Hi Robyn! This is your instructor Sarah. I know you have a draft written and it just isn't here yet so I'll hold off on finalizing your grade until you edit yoru sandbox to include that. Sarahczarita (talk) 20:15, 26 March 2017 (UTC)
This is a good start. However, some of the wording is confusing or not clear to me. It would help if you start out with a broad definition of what a coffeehouse is. How is this coffeehouse different from other kinds of coffeehouse definitions that exist on Wikipedia?
To clear up the wording, it might help you to go to the ECC writing center. OR talk to a friend who can give you feedback, just to help make sure it makes sense.
You'll need to include more information about how the history of coffeehouses ties into how they exist and where they exist today. You might want to have section headings for that information.
It isn't clear which source matches up with which information in your article. Be sure you are putting citations at the end of sentences that the information came from. For example, if you get the definition from source #1, you should put a citation at the end. What will happen is, the citation will show up as a little number and be listed as a reference at the end of the document. You already have a references section -- that's good!
You can always email shalor@wikiedu.org, remember, if you need extra help. They are happy to answer questions, as am I. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sarahczarita (talk • contribs) 02:11, 11 April 2017 (UTC)
