Please help me with...I am creating a new page for actor Jason Adelman, as the prior one was deleted so I have addressed the issues and ready to submit new page per their request. The issue is, I have created the page and its good to go but the title remains "Temppate" and not "Jason Adelman". Do I need a new Jason Adelman wiki number?
Robot19332 (talk) 15:24, 25 June 2015 (UTC)Thanks!
- Hi there! You have added content to the wrong place. You made all of your edits to the documentation page of a template. That is, instead of creating a new article, you were (for lack of a better description) unintentionally vandalizing a page that explains how to use a template.
I have moved your article to your sandbox at User:Robot19332/sandbox.Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:36, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
- Oh! edit conflict - I was doing the same and moved a copy to the draft area Draft:Jason Adelman KylieTastic (talk) 15:40, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks KylieTastic! Sorry for the conflict. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:53, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
- Robot, to avoid any confusion, I will blank your sandbox. Please make any new edits to Draft:Jason Adelman so there's only one presence of this content. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:58, 25 June 2015 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Adelman & Smirnoff.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Adelman & Smirnoff.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nick—Contact/Contribs 16:24, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Jason Adelman's profile is in the drafts but ready to be public. How do I convert the draft to a finalized version? Thanks!
Robot19332 (talk) 16:27, 25 June 2015 (UTC)Thanks!
- Hi Robot19332, to quote from Wikipedia:Articles for creation.... To nominate an existing draft or user sandbox for review at Articles for Creation, add the code
{{subst:submit}}
to the top of the draft or sandbox page. Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 17:13, 25 June 2015 (UTC)

Deletion pending for File:Jason Adelman in Paris, France 2014.jpg
[edit]Hello, Robot19332. Some time ago, a file you uploaded — File:Jason Adelman in Paris, France 2014.jpg — was tagged with {{OTRS pending}}, indicating that you (or perhaps the copyright holder if you did not create this image) submitted a statement of permission to permissions-en@wikimedia.org. - If you have not submitted (or forwarded) a statement of permission, please send it immediately to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
- If you have already sent this message, it is possible that there was a problem receiving it. Please re-send it to permissions-en@wikimedia.org and let us know at the OTRS noticeboard that you have done so.
If we don't hear from you within one week, the file will be deleted. If we can help you, please feel free to ask at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 14:41, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
