Image copyright problem with Image:Pojmanski c2006a1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Pojmanski c2006a1.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).
The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}
.
Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me. Thank you. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 20:11, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
Possibly unfree Image:Pojmanski c2006a1.jpg
[edit]This image references http://www.vcastro.com/, which says, "Images are copyright ©2002 Paul C. Martinez & Philip Brents. They may be used for any educational or scientific use - however, please reference or link to this page if you do so." This is not an acceptable license for Wikipedia because it limits use to only educational and scientific uses. I noticed that you first tagged this image as {{GFDL-self}} and then {{FAL}}. These are specific copyright licenses, please don't go tagging images with them unless the source of the image says that the image is under this license. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 14:42, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification on the image description page and citing the image's copyright license at the source. My listing on PUI is withdrawn. Thanks for working with me on this. --ChrisRuvolo (t) 17:22, 15 March 2006 (UTC)
Regarding edits made to Armor Attack
[edit]Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia, Robogun! However, your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the link you added, matching rule \bnewgrounds\.com\b, is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. Please read Wikipedia's external links policy for more information. If the link was to an image, please read Wikipedia's image tutorial on how to use a more appropriate method to insert the image into an article. If your link was intended to promote a site you own, are affiliated with, or will make money from inclusion in Wikipedia, please note that inserting spam into Wikipedia is against policy. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! Shadowbot 06:03, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Jack Woolams, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.friends-partners.org/partners/mwade/astros/woolams.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 23:37, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
FAR on Comet
[edit]I have nominated Comet for a featured article review here. Please join the discussion on whether this article meets featured article criteria. Articles are typically reviewed for two weeks. If substantial concerns are not addressed during the review period, the article will be moved to the Featured Article Removal Candidates list for a further period, where editors may declare "Keep" or "Remove" the article's featured status. The instructions for the review process are here.Cirt (talk) 12:14, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Hello, Robogun, and thank you for your contributions!
An article you worked on La Rumorosa, appears to be directly copied from http://hewgill.com/~greg/wikiblame/simple/Asyut.html. Please take a minute to make sure that the text is freely licensed and properly attributed as a reference, otherwise the article may be deleted.
It's entirely possible that this bot made a mistake, so please feel free to remove this notice and the tag it placed on La Rumorosa if necessary. MadmanBot (talk) 19:57, 28 February 2013 (UTC)

File permission problem with File:Tarahchellevold.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Tarahchellevold.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Mlpearc (open channel) 13:22, 28 May 2014 (UTC)
ArbCom 2018 election voter message
[edit]Hello, Robogun. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
