Thank you for your edits to the Swiftian articles; however, I have directly consulted the 1892 edition as transcribed at Project Gutenberg, and the one-'g' spelling is used. If you are aware of any works mentioning some difference between the 1726 original and the 1892 edition, I would appreciate their being brought to my attention.
Pending reports of such a difference, I have reverted the changes you made; I look forward to being proven wrong. DS (talk) 12:53, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, although the one-'g' spelling has made its way into publications from the 19th century onward (and this isn't just an OCR error, I've looked at actual scans), and thus should be accounted for. I've got a major project running right now, with a deadline of tomorrow evening, so I'll address this issue later this week. Thank you for bringing this to my attention, and for understanding when I reverted your changes. DS (talk) 17:01, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- Oh, and if you leave a message on someone's page, or on a discussion page, please sign-and-timestamp it by adding four tildes (~), which the system will automatically expand for you. DS (talk) 17:08, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
- Hey, sorry for the delay - was doing many things, forgot. How about "Struldbrugg (sometimes spelled Struldbrug)"? Sound reasonable? DS (talk) 02:21, 6 August 2018 (UTC)
