Fingal Rovers Surf Life Saving Club moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Fingal Rovers Surf Life Saving Club, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Speedy deletion nomination of Herbert Ferlando Schwarz
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Herbert Ferlando Schwarz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Даңқ23 (talk) 08:46, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Per my reply to you at User talk:Даңқ23, please 1) do not remove speedy deletion tags from articles that you have created, 2) don't create new articles in mainspace which are unsourced and/or do not demonstrate the importance of the subject. Create them in draft space or your sandbox instead and only move them to article space when another editor has reviewed them or you are satisfied they are at a stage where they will not be deleted. --kingboyk (talk) 11:52, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Too many photos and not enough text - please note the article is precarious in status, as WP:NOTGALLERY could be slapped on it, and the duplicated photos will either fly away or get stung... so to speak. Hope you keep at it, but please note more text would help the article. JarrahTree 23:17, 10 February 2020 (UTC)
Agree and understood, been the last 12 hours on that topic translating the 1898 journal from German to cite the references, wikidata and wikispecies are now all linked and created. Will work on further text today. Robertreadman (talk) 23:32, 10 February 2020 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of T. hockingsi
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on T. hockingsi requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G14 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either
- disambiguates only one extant Wikipedia page and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic);
- disambiguates zero extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title; or
- is a redirect with a title ending in "(disambiguation)" that does not target a disambiguation page or page that has a disambiguation-like function.
Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.
