Countries in the infobox for film articles
[edit]Hi. Do you have any sources for the extra countries you are adding into the infoboxes of the film articles you've added? Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 19:49, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
You might find these guidelines useful when editing the infobox on film articles: Template:Infobox film. Betty Logan (talk) 20:28, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Hey! My sources for the countries that I add into the infoboxes are: some websites like IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes and AllMovie, and some books about history of cinema that I personally have. Thank you Betty Logan, the article about the infobox could be very useful to me. Roberto Frana (talk) 15:04, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- Please note that we do not consider IMDb to be a reliable source, as its content is user-contributed and often erroneous. Please don't add material based solely on IMDb. Yworo (talk) 03:04, 16 December 2010 (UTC)
- "...and some books about history of cinema that I personally have." Do you have the titles of these books, and prehaps the pages within them that relate to any changes you've made? Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 18:05, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
Dear Lugnuts, I know that you would like to know exactly from where my changes come from, but it will be very long and annoying to list in this talk page all book titles and pages that relate to the changes. Just have faith and if not, you're welcome to make your own changes to the articles that I modified. Cheers!. Roberto Frana (talk) 18:30, 20 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hello. Thanks for you editing here at Wikipedia. Please do not change {{Film US}} to[[Cinema of the United States|United States]]. While we used to use the latter we no longer do. First it is a violation of WP:EGG. Second, and more importantly, the new template automatically creates lists and categories in other areas of wikipedia that you are not aware of. You cooperation in this will be appreciated. MarnetteD | Talk 15:48, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop changing the accent in his surname, unless you can provide a source for it. Thanks. Lugnuts (talk) 07:19, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
